Nothing in the OM for the 2008. Maybe I got confused with the 2014 Escape. Easy enough to test - hold the button on the lift gate for a few seconds and see if it beeps.

I thought our 2008 had that feature but I'm not sure.

No, the clearcoat is clear. Sounds like he didn't mix up the paint enough or sprayed it wrong. Did you look at it closely in sunlight? Maybe it's just the lighting.

Did you have plain sync before or MFT? I don't recall that working with MFT. You'll probably have to wait for Android auto support later this year. BTW - Siri eyes free works great on both MFT and sync 3.

You didn't look hard enough. It's there. I think you just set it to the desired height and hold the close button on the hatch until it beeps but you need to check the manual to be safe.

You can lock it with the keypad while it's running.

What did the owner's manual say? If you have the power lift gate it can be adjusted.

It's the bells you have to watch out for. The whistles are relatively benign......

Sorry - I thought it was a relatively inexpensive DIY kit or that you might have some scrap material available. That should do the trick.

The dealers order the 21" wheels, not Ford. If they're ordering more 21" wheels then customers are asking for more 21" wheels.

I wouldn't think so but it's easy enough to test.

I added an aftermarket Hidden Hitch to our 2016 MKX and it doesn't seem to block the liftgate sensor at all. No problems kicking on either side of the receiver. On our 2014 Escape it did block a lot of the sensor, but there was still a spot next to the exhaust that worked every time.

Try opening it fully and lubricating the tracks/rails.

Theoretically but that's pretty risky. In the past it was possible to fubar the software to the point the hardware had to be replaced - not sure if that's still the case but I wouldn't risk it.

Make sure the phone software is current and try a phone reboot.

Left menu - press left arrow to get main menu - then Driver Assist->Tire Monitor->Tire Pressure. Edit - that was the MKX. On the Edge I think it's Driver Assist -> Tire Pressure

Did you try all the menus on the left hand display? It's in there somewhere.
