    After seeing the FX 9590, I am going in that direction with a Corsair water cooling system and a 1600w power supply for the desktop. The home theater PC is going to change to one of the AMD processors with integrated graphics which also means a different motherboard than the one I bought.

    One thing I did notice is that he went with the wider beam pattern to get good light coverage. Many of these bars have 10 degree and 40 degree LEDs. The 10 degree is better suited for a foglight application. I am choosing the 40 degree for mine

    I finally got hold of the OP via email. I saw the pics and the bar is extremely bright. I'll post the pics this evening.

    For the record, Cellbine and I both have the Type 1 switchbacks from VLEDs. Side note: The installer from the stereo shop I am planning to work with looked at my switchbacks and said he liked them.

    2008 Edge SE: Bought brand new and put 105,600 on the clock before trading it on the 2011 I have now. Got $12,000 for it. 2011 Edge Limited: Bought with 18,199 on the clock and it now has 59,000.

    I am still averaging 20-21 mpg in city driving around Phoenix. Also, the Edge has 59,000 on the clock.

    TJ: Not trying to bash, but bear in mind that I have been in a similar situation with Maximas. Stillen stopped making the strut tower brace for Maximas and then, all of a sudden, demand for the 5.5 Gen Max was up. The point I am making is that the Edge is one of those vehicles that the aftermarket support is lacking. We need a company that has weight like yours to help those who want to squeeze a little more out of our vehicles.

    Is there a way to incorporate AppLink into the next Sync/MFT upgrade? I am sure a LOT of Edge owners with MFT are clamoring for it.

    I am still rolling on the factory Michelins and plan to change them for Pirelli Scorpion Verdes at 65k. Right now, I am at 58,000.

    Do you have the full LED setup (e.g. backup lights and turn signals)?

    So, in other words, it's not worth the extra hassle to upgrade the C&D pillar speakers as well as the center channel in the dash.

    Dingo: When you changed your dash and D-pillar speakers, did you notice any sonic improvement?

    My wife has told me that she's seen a leak under the Edge. I plan to have this and a litany of other things checked out while I still have a warranty.

    Mine just did it twice on me within the same day. I am going to have that checked out ASAP.

    A few more things: a) 35 watt systems are just plug and play. No special harnesses needed. To clarify the 6000k comment, HID output is measured in lumens and the K values are color temperatures. Any HID kit is going to be brightest between 4000-6000k. My 6000K kit was 2800 lumens. The 5000K I currently have is 3200 lumens. Bear in mind, those values are with 35w kits. 55w kits are going to be higher but, again, you will need the harness. c) The kits commonly used here are DDM or Morimoto (via TRS (The Retrofit Source)). I went with a totally different vendor for both kits.

    Since I owned a 2008 previously, this is what I did: a) Made sure that the ballasts were 100% digital. Non-digital ballasts had issues with flickering. Went with a color temperature no higher than 6000k. If you did that, you were reducing light output unless you went with a 55w system. The higher wattage systems do require a relay harness. c) I actually went with a 35w system for both high and low beams due to the extremely dark roads we have here. I never had a check engine light nor any problems with the vehicle after installation.

    To answer the first part, all Edges are assembled in Canada. Oakville, ON to be exact. Your car will not have DRLs unless it was a used one from Canada or a state that required DRLs (e.g. California).

    My stone interior is holding up fine. No discoloration. However, I also tinted the glass all the way around.

    No choice if I am going to Prescott, Sedona, or Flagstaff.
