  1. you know what makes me queasy, is the hard bump I get from my transmission on. I get it sometimes not all the time but when I get it I get weed, because I don't want to go to the dealer and get the runaround
  2. I saw the videos with those too exhaust noise differences with the master flow pipe muffler deal.I did not like either. I prefer the smoother tone of the stock muffler. sounds just right for me not too loud not too soft and a nice deep rumble. Just perfect for my likes.those other ex off in the video make the cart sound like a cheaper car, almost like those bikes
  3. My method has worked 100 percent. If you find my post and look at my pictures and do exactly is what I did and most likely you will save yourself a trip to the dealer.all it takes is a can of wd-40 and a can of electrical cleaner. The WD 40 moves the debris around and lubricates and the electrical cleaner washes the WD 40 off everything and rinses everything. At least that's what I think is going on and why it works for me
  4. I thought like oversaturated what are armorall or something
  5. 64k miles. Just replaced my rears. But they came out retarted. The thickest pad was about 60 to 70%. The thinnest pad was 1 to 2 %. Lol. So uneven. I just cleaned and lubed everything well and hoping for a miracle is not a bad caliper.
  6. Ok. Looked at the pdf. Actually looks good and not over done. I hate those cars with lights everywhere. But this is toned down nicely.
  7. that's good. I doubt any damage was done by having the air inside the hcu. Since you didn't drive. I would not worry at all. Id worry more on the tranny issue everyone is having. Lol
  8. Now I'm at 39psi since my tires day max is 44psi. Just to get rid of the howling at certain hover mph.lol I rotated the tires to see if I could quiet them. It's worse now. Lol. Turns out, performance ties that are directional are notorious for boar due to the tie grip pattern wearing at the edge causing the howling.
  9. woah! You didn't try my method? Took me 5 minutes. Not one screw was touched. And it's been working fine for the last 3 1/2 months without one ajar error. I posted pics too. Cost me a can of electric cleaner only. I swear to who every is God, it works.
  10. good for you. But damn! It's scary leroy! These edges have this problem! Seems like all of them. Lucky for us its a recall and not a brush.
  11. oh boy. You got lucky. I worked I the field for 7 years. And I can tell you if the air in the HCU damaged the expenssive unit, they would have said "sir.. We finally found your problem. HCU is bad. You need to replace it. 3000$ please. " that's to cover their arses. Lol. Luckily it didn't go that way.
  12. Alsodid you pay anything out of pocket? Like the brake master did you pay for that? If you did did you just pay for the part or the labor or just the part? I mean anything did you pay for anything or was it all done under warranty and a recall
  13. yup. .. I wound have been pisstt if they would have said is normal. So it was just tech error... Lucky you this error didn't damage hcu.
  14. llol. Good job. It's their mistake, they should pay for it. This brings hope back to my edge.
  15. what a terrible shop. Useless. If they let the car go to the customer the way you describe it, tech is unreliable. Man. .. I'm beginning to regret jumping to the American car Wagon. All my Japanese cars were so much better. I still love this car thou.lol
  16. I had to because the driver side rear inner pad was at 1%.Yup.... You read right. One percent. The outer pad was about 40%. The ppassanger side rear pads were inner was 25% and outer was 40%. The pins were free flowing. There was a bit of brake dust and slight rust on both calipers. I cleaned the old grease and put new. Even cleaned the pins to make sure with a ruff pad to bring back the shine. I also rebent the clips some i reused them so they grip the pads and not squeek. What could cause this 1%? When I pushed the caliper pistons in, I had to twist them while I opened the bleeder. Then closed the bleeder. I don't think I have to bleed them right? Also. . I just realized my ebrakes don't hold as good now. Where the adjustment? At the calipers where the cable pulls on it? I'm using ceramic pads. I uploaded the pic. One pad was the thickest on the other side. But the thinnest was the driver side inner pad. Just let me know what you all think. This ain't normal. Have these edges had rear brake issues? I know that the 2010 and under had smaller disks due to ppl complaining about brakes wearing fat.
  17. there's been a warranty extended . On the brake booster. I'm sure most people here have heard of it. I think mine is ok but I do have a question on how this brake system work cuz I've never had a car the doors this so I'll give you symptoms. On a uphill inclination as I Drive and come to a stop, release the brakes and the car does not roll back like most cars because of the uphill inclination. In which I find a genius if its supposed to do this. But this temporary break grab will only last about 5 seconds and eventually the car will roll back. So if I'm correct its been been designed sothe car does not roll back on up hills and give you a brief moment of time without having to quickly jump from break to guess. Is this how the system is supposed to work? I've noticed when are I'm in that particular situation and I let go of a break and if I tap the brakes 2 or 3 more times guess they get really hard like a bad brake booster but as soon as I give it gas they perfectly feel fine.are the symptoms normal? I'll explain it in a nutshell again. coming to a stop up hill and releasing break there is still brake pressure that does not allow the car throwback and give me time to hit the gas without any rollback.tapping the brakes 2 or 3 times while it's being held for the brake system by itself makes the brake pedal feel really hard. Are these all normal symptoms? 2011 edge se fwd
  18. 65k miles on my 2011 se. I have that ticking noise too. I'll keep a eye out on it. Tsb means they will fix it free if it falls in the category?
  19. Yup. Tuxedo black is the rainbow sparkle. I debated myself of I rather have pure black or this sparkle. Girls like the sparkle I noticed. But I've seen pre black or I think it looks as good.

  21. Yup.... thats what I read. But people claim about 1to 2 hp increase. And slight increase in throttle response. Just for installing it. Very minor. .. But if true, I buy. So just wondering if any of you guys actually bought it and saw that difference. There's a data study on it, showing absolutely destroying those claims. But it was done on older cars. And done techs claim on newer computer controlled efi cars, it does not matter how much more air flow there is.
  22. Lol. Some say its snake oil. And possibly does engine damage due to the fine dust particles penetrating inside the engine contaminating the oil. Wth?
