  1. @037 Stated that he had some transmission issues with the 93 aggressive tune when it was hot. He said it ran better when it was cold out side. he said 93 less aggressive was good as well. Main difference being the firmness of the shifts. I'm sure he will chime in and share his experiences. Since you're handy and know your way around a tool box, you may want to check the gap on your spark plugs. Even though your edge is new. Livernois recommends gapping the plugs to 0.28. On other ecoboost forums peeps have stated that anywhere from 0.25-0.28 is the best gap for our engines. The plugs are gapped at 0.30 out the box. You did not mention a check engine light or anything. Not saying that it has anything to do with your issues but a bogged tranny/ hesitant shift feeling can possibly be attributed to spark. Just something to look at if you want to. Or I could be completely off base. Just tossing an idea out there.
  2. Congrats and welcome to the forum!
  3. Ford was having the same problem with the 2.7 in the 2015+ F-150. They were having the same and or similar problem with the 3.5 ecoboost engine. Ford eventually went with an metal oil pan and metal drain plug. Ford did release a TSB which I believe was referenced above. Customers who have had the oil pan replaced following the TSB do not seem to be current issues.
  4. Take your time. My lady is interested but she doesn't seem overly pressed about it. Then again she has her eye on my sport so go figure. There are a couple of things that bother me with the ST. Then again there were things that bothered me with the 2nd gen yet here I am. I'm sure the ST will grow on me.
  5. Congrats! Welcome to the forum!
  6. Drop me a line if you decide to pull your sync 3 set up.
  7. I don't mind the price of the filter nor the drain plug. More than likely they are keeping with their tradition of using a plastic oil pan. If they used a conventional oil pan we would have the option of using a Fumoto drain valve. The fumoto would pay for itself over time. I spoke with a rep and they stated that they are currently testing a new valve that will be compatible with the plastic oil pan. She said to check back in the summer time.
  8. Thats a beautiful truck right there! That color makes it pop!
  9. Definitely way to light to be 5%. 5% over stock tint must look like cartel tint. I have the H&R springs. I'll have to look into the coil overs you mentioned. Is there any particular manufacturer you recommend?
  10. From my experience due to the different shades and hues 15% on the front worked best for me. 5% is limo black. Have you ever had the stock tint metered with the 5% over it? I'd also like a coil over set up. Speaking of coil overs were you able to get something in the works? I know you mentioned working on something in the past.
  11. I always thought that color was called dove or elephant grey. Either way its a hot color. I've seen in on a few different cars, Mainly European models. It also seems to be one of the new trendy colors I've seen cars wrapped in.
  12. You are correct, completely forgot about one of the most attractive features of the ST ..... the black headliner. Actually I would want a none tinted edge. When I get the windows tinted I would get them done all at once ensuring color/ shade uniformity. I'm aware that the fronts do not come tinted due to varying tint laws. I thought this was a "what if" kinda post.
  13. Alpine White w/ black interior/ black headliner! off topic, I'd wish that Ford would provide the option to have the front door window tint dyed at the same time as the rear or an option to remove the factory tint all together.
  14. Ouch I saw the news reports. Chi town is definitely experiencing a deep freeze! Do not use your iPhone. Use a blank regular USB drive preferably 8gb or higher formatted with FAT32. Once you have the software downloaded and extracted on your drive then you can use it in your car. The manual states that it takes about .5 hr or so. But in the past I have found that its usually 15-20 min. HTH
  15. Congratulations! Favorite color combo! Share some pics when you can!
  16. https://mobiloil.com/en/search?q=5W30 A hell of a lot more than one would think.
  17. If you spent that $10k on a Lincoln you would still not have a Porsche...... I can't lie, the new Nautilus looks great!
  18. The only issues I have ever had with self parking was during inclement weather, or the day after when the sensors are dirty. Once I give her a bath she's all good!
  19. Congratulations! You finally pulled the trigger! What settings are you having issues with? Post some pics! We like pics!
  20. A lot of the post do not pertain to ST/ Sport.
  21. The 2019's do not have the light bar. Only time will tell if the 2019's will develop condensation. Ironically enough Lincoln's version of the edge, The MKX and the Nautilus have light bars across the back. I don't think I have ever heard of a single issue with the Lincoln counterparts.
  22. Unfortunately this is a normal occurrence. The condensation should go away. If it doesn't and, or there is an abnormal amount the taillight bar may have to be replaced. Depending on your in service date or mileage it may be covered under warranty.
  23. I thought MacT did a fluid sample... Maybe he did or maybe I wished he did LOL
  24. Has anyone considered Schaeffer's Specialized Fluids gear oil? Their 170 EXTREME PERFORMANCE FULL SYNTHETIC SAE 75W-140 has a flash point of 489°! Just tossing another option out there. I haven't used it yet, but I might. I plan on changing my PTU fluid every third oil change. Since I recently changed my PTU gear oil, it will be a while before my next service interval. https://www.schaefferoil.com/gear-oils-lubricants.html 271-170-td.pdf
