  1. I love the open discussion, sharing various schools of thought/ ideas, with everyone being open minded. None of the juvenile arguing crap, that's prevalent in forums across the nets.
  2. Fumoto currently does not make one for any ford with a plastic oil pan. They completed the R&D and have sent a few valves out for public beta testing. If it makes it to production is anyone's guess at this point.
  3. My Precious........ Seriously tho.. those wheels look sharp!!
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum! That's the beauty of individualism at its finest! It's your ride! You can do as much or as little as you want! Enjoy!
  5. You have a great eye for photos! If you're not a photographer you may have missed your calling.
  6. The Niche Essen is a good looking wheel! Thanks for adding another layer to the never ending saga of paralysis via analysis. LOL
  7. Thanks for the info! Definitely a lot more going on than I was expecting! Thanks for sharing the info!
  8. I can dig it! Always loved roof racks on hatches! Can you share the details of your roof rack?
  9. I wasn't aware that they had different stages of the RMM available. I don't see anything on their website to indicate that different stages were available. Do you know off hand what the different stages would be? At first I was extremely leery of how the CP-E RMM would feel. When I inquired about getting one made with a 60 duro, they said they were all out and they would be using the 65 duro going forward. The only way to get the 60 would be for an extremely large group order, but I digress. Usually one can tell that any ride is tighter with a new RMM. But the CP-E mount is definitely several classes above stock! I agree with you completely. It is a complete night and day experience with the CP-E mount. It's not a placebo. I know new plugs and new RMM don't add anything HP wise but they sure as hell feel tighter and more responsive to the butometer!! I'd have to say the idle did seem initially harsh prior to breaking it in. After the break in period I can't really discern any noticeable increase in NVH and it feels stock except when you're driving! One of the best investments anyone can make for their edge!!
  10. Beautiful pic! You should have it framed! Feel free to post them all individually or shrink them to an acceptable size. WE LOVE PICS!!
  11. They say it takes a village to raise a child.... You and @snmjim and @Special_K are among the OG village elders when it comes to modding the sport! Reach out to them you know they have a finger in a variety of pies and seemingly endless supply of resources.
  12. Sorry to hear the bad news. I think we as a collective is almost as disappointed as you are. Here are a couple of suggestions that may prove fruitful. Can you use a different top? I know it makes it ultimately easier since thats what you based your design concept on. But maybe there is something else available that would work. Have you considered 3D printing? Since you already have the top, perhaps someone could render/ model it and print it? There's a guy here that recently printed a part and he says he does custom work. Reach out to @clegg78 one never knows what y'all could come up with? Have you considered having it done on a CNC machine. I know the start up programming can be costly but the choice of materials are almost endless and once you have the file you can take it almost anywhere they work with CNC and cut them for you. Is there any kind of stamp or identification on the top half of the COBB part? I ask because I doubt COBB makes them and if they don't make them then they have to be made some where. Have you tried reaching out to all of various social media platforms? FB, IG? There maybe someone who knows someone etc They say it can get worse before it gets better. Hopefully this is the worst of it and things will get better once you sort out the top. Don't despair, nor give up! Where their is a will, there is a way! You got this! We appreciate you! HTH
  13. My '17 Sport has 59,827 miles on her.
  14. If its a recent purchase the dealership that you brought it from may offer some type of warranty. Or depending on your build date and mileage you may be under the factory warranty. To avoid paying a diagnostic fee, I'd suggest calling a ford dealer and give them your vin and ask if its under warranty. If its under warranty let Ford sort it out. If its not under warranty the USB hub isn't expensive new and a replacement APIM should be around $2-$300 used.
  15. Congrats and welcome to the forum! What color is your edge? Is it Blue Jean Blue? Always loved that color!
  16. You very well maybe right, but I don't find it comforting that a quality control, engineer, designer who ever said hey this is an issue and a bean counter said nah its good it functions the way its supposed to. Sort of like the transmission debacle. There may be a legit reason why the adaptive headlights can not/ should not be disabled. But would it have hurt to iron out the niggles/ gremlins before they were mass produced? I get that its not a Bimmer, Merc, Audi or insert any other high end manufacturer. But we're talking about ~50k depending on the options etc. Should quality control and due diligence be sacrificed because its not?
  17. You got it! While they are firmer, I would say that they are made for the correct spring rate which the stock shocks and struts are not. To me they provide a more comfortable ride than the stock combo with H&R springs. You will notice an immediate increased harshness and firmness going from the 20" to 21" wheels. Any member here with less than perfect roads will tell you that 21"+ wheels will rider firmer and harsher than their ~20" counterparts. Partly due to ~40 series tire. I understand that its the look that you prefer, but you're going down a slippery slope in the compromise between aesthetics, performance and comfort. More and more manufacturers are adopting the 21" wheel size. It is true that there definitely more tire choices now than in 2015 when they introduced the sport with optional 21" wheels. It doesn't make it any less of an oddball size. Good quality tires are expensive regardless. Good quality tires in oddball sizes are even more so. I'm not opposed to a lil stretch. Just not at the cost of sacrificing comfort and performance. A stretched 40 series can ride like a 35 series tire. In my view you're entering the gray fuzzy area of diminishing returns with no real value added. Then again you said you came up on the Asian car scene. You might be going for the VIP look. Not trying to diminish your opinion or persuade you either way. Just want you to be aware of your options and the possible ramifications that may follow. The TSW Bathurst has been on my short list for a while now. Its a gorgeous wheel. I lean slightly more towards the TSW Clypse because of the thicker spoke and its available in gloss black. The possibilities are endless. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your edge. Enjoy it!
  18. Welcome to the forum! She looks great! You should also consider the Bilstein B6 shocks/ strut combo! They work together like hand and glove with the H&R springs.....If you have it all apart might as well do it once..... You may want to reconsider going with 21x10.5..... 21" tires are still an oddball despite more and more manufactures adopting the size... If you're going to replace your wheels check out 20"s or 22" The 10.5 width will not be a issue with the correct offset that I can't recall at the moment hahah I think that a 265 tire would be super stretched on a 10.5" wheel. 275 - 285 seems to be the sweet spot on the stock 21x9 wheel. One guy has 295!!! on the stock rim. Depending on where you live, I'm sure it could be enjoyable or a nightmare. Check FB market place or Craigslist etc for a used trailer hitch. I've seen them go for half price.

  20. Thought I was the only one that interpreted it that way!
  21. I would suggest deleting your phones bluestooth connection (This unto itself doesn't have an impact on whether or not carplay/ siri will work But i often find it best to start with a clean baseline while diagnosing and troubleshooting things. Especially if it takes all of two seconds to repair your phone) I also see that you have a 2016. Depending on your build date you will need to purchase a newer USB hub that plays nice with iPhone. Google these part numbers... GJ7Z-19A387-B (White USB Port LED's - Lincoln Default) HC3Z-19A387-B (Blue USB Port LED's - Ford Default) If you don't require a new USB hub then continue below: Go into settings/ general/ carplay/ sync 3 and select forget this car. I don't think you're set up/ configured properly. Deleting it will force you to go through all of the connection prompts upon connecting your iPhone via USB. Once you're connected properly you can simply say hey siri and in theory she should work! HTH Good Luck!
  22. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the pressure washer. I will check out the reviews. I definitely love the idea of not having to haul out the full size pressure washer for small jobs! Thanks once again!
