  2. I've traveled through Indiana a few times, but have seen more of those buggy's in Pennsylvanian, but never at a Coffee or fast-food drive through.
  3. @enigma-2 ours isn't similar to that. The grill badge and camera are directly in front of the latch and it cannot be seen even using a flashlight. The attached photos will give you an idea where to prod with a long screwdriver - I was able to get it open, but had the benefit of seeing the exact location of the latch. One of those inspection cameras would help a lot.
  4. If the charge warning is coming on when the AC compressor is on, then check the aux belt tension.
  5. If the jump start battery is good and the jumper cables good and well connected to the cars battery connectors, then you need to look for a bad connection, Batt-Neg to chassis, Chassis to Engine, Batt-Pos to main fuse box and to the starter main terminal.
  6. Yesterday the service manager told me that the most common cause of this code is the evap valve that I replaced, but they have seen it caused by a faulty device near the gas tank (forget what he called it).
  7. Found out that my Ford Premium Care has a $100 deductible, so bought a new replacement, installed and cleared the codes. I'll be gassing up late tomorrow after work and will see if I still have the hesitation at idle immediately after filling up.
  8. @ClemsonEE welcome and appreciate the feedback - one of the best 1st posts I've seen.
  9. I'm not familiar with your model so cant help locate the drain, but are you referring to the air conditioner evaporator drain? - just puzzled by the title "coolant" ......
  10. What do you mean by that ? - a wheel bearing going bad you might feel when rotating it, but can't understand how you moved it up and down. A wheel bearing would need to be very bad for it to cause a dropout of signal from the ABS sensor. It the shocks are bad and the wheel not well balanced it could be skipping and the sensor missing a beat.
  11. What model / engine? - please add that to your signature - Settings - Ford Edge Forum
  12. The typical method is to fill it, record the odometer, ride a reasonable distance fill it again recording the mileage and amount of gas it took to fill - come on, I'm sure you know how that's done.
  13. Is it a gauge accuracy issue, or have you checked the actual mpg?
  14. If you're out of warranty you could buy the valve on its own for $16 and use a heat gun to install it on the existing pipe. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224023795357
  15. @Cerberus Just checked mine and it has the same part number. If I suck on the valve with no power on it seems like its shut pretty tight, but the problem could be that it's not opening correctly.
  16. What video? I tried that, and still get the stutter at idle with a full tank. I've not cleared the code, and will only do that after my Dealership has scanned it as part of the warranty check. I'll soon have a warranty replacement from my Dealership and will report back once its installed. Not sure why the sales sites are reporting that the part number is for a 3.0L
  17. This is the latest version part number: Part Number: GL3Z9B325B https://parts.lakelandford.com/p/75109745/GL3Z9B325B.html Non-OEM https://www.amazon.com/Support-Bracket-Purge-Valve-2015-2017/dp/B08PDD9TNW/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=GL3Z9B325B&qid=1633295220&s=grocery&sr=1-1
  18. Not sure if they're suited for tuned models, but the ones I installed about a year ago haven't given any issues, but neither did the stock original plugs, and I haven't pulled one to take a look. Motorcraft SP-542 plug superseded by SP-578? - New Plug Installation DIY - 2.7L EcoBoost - Ford Edge Forum
  19. A quick lube shop? Many "budget" oil change places are notorious for using the wrong oil filter and/or the wrong oil.
  20. Do a forum search. If its the Cleveland engine with those symptoms the solution is not simply a gasket replacement, but an engine replacement.
  21. Where did you get the oil changed? Not wise to drive with it with the low oil pressure light on. What model and year? - please add that to your profile signature - https://www.fordedgeforum.com/settings/signature/ What mileage?
  22. Most dealerships won't allow any more than that amount on a credit card. I highly recommend the below card - its 2% cash back on everything all the time, not like others that offer the cash back on certain purchases for a limited period - I use it for a statement credit. https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/citi-double-cash-credit-card
  23. I completed the brake hose recall and a brake fluid flush today. The rubber glove on the fluid filler defeats the caps breather and limited the amount of fluid mess - with the old hose removed there was no dripping of fluid. For the flush I use a home made pressure bleeder and my oil extractor vacuum - the vacuum isn't really needed, but it makes for a no hassle, no mess.
  24. Correct, and some diagnostics should be able to identify it. Running a fuel system cleaner in a couple of tanks costs very little and can do no harm, and could clear a fouled injector. Seeing that one foreign incorrect spark plug makes me cringe, and conjurers up an image of a drunk redneck shade tree "mechanic" working on it - a clear sign that its been abused. 17Ville2.0 what's the mileage? Do you have the service record? Did you research its history on places like CarFax?
  25. Why? I have 71K miles on my Sport, and expect my ignition coils to last more than twice that - if the time comes, I'll only replace a component like that if testing confirms its failed.
