  1. Are you maybe hearing the air intake sucking noise? I can hear that since I put in a different filter. I honestly don't hear much from the engine other than the fake piped in crap through the speakers. It really has a boring sound all around. Lol!
  2. Wouldn't that be covered under the 5/60 engine warranty? For some reason I thought emissions was included in that.
  3. I guess I would have to hear what you are referring to. I have 7000 miles on mine and I drive it hard and push it to 20 psi daily, 1.4 bar. I really do not hear anything at that point other then the engine revs and wind noise with the windows down. Heck I can not even hear the turbos from inside the car. You can hear this inside the car?
  4. I put the metal sticky mount in the Edge but was wondering if I go test drive and flog a car if I could toss it on the hood if it would stay. Lol.
  5. Well then with the rollout time I am getting 0-60 in 4.88s then. One more Dragy question, is the magnet good enough to hold on the outside of a vehicle? Wondering if say I wanted to see what another vehicle could do if I can safely slap in on the hood edge.
  6. Well you see there really isn't one. That is a back road that is long and straight and for the most part flat. At 7 am there is literally no one ever on it. I do more 0-60 runs on it since going a full 1/4 run is obviously braking the law just a hair.
  7. SO what times for 0-60 do you use off the Dragy? I have been posting the actual times not the rollout times. Interesting that the rollout ones are what the car reviewers use. I dd not know that. :-)
  8. Which is why I want an FMIC to cool Charge Air more to keep everything better. Also probably why tuners do suggest one step colder plugs to keep detonation/knock under better control. Coming from the FoST community these are things discussed over there. Probably not so much here because people tuning these are not taking them out rallying. ?
  9. So I am getting better at the launch. Down to a 5.1s today to 60. I so hope with a future revision we can get that down some more, maybe below 5. And the 1/4 over 100, I still hit mid 99 mph on it and the best I have done is 13.59s at both 99.96 and 99.31mph. I am sure an E30 tune could do better if I could find E85 gas anywhere near here.
  10. Well I have only had it 2 weeks so I figure I will give them some time before calling again. It would be nice if somewhere like their website would say which tune revision they are on. I know way to easy right. Lol!
  11. I ended up going with your tune. I am currently running v3 of the 93 Perf tune. I would like to know how does the customer find out if there is a new revision, with improvements and tweaks? Is there somewhere to go and see what is current? Love the tune so far.
  12. I have been getting in the higher 17's since I got a Livernois tune. Which I have been flooring it a lot so I am sure once I settle down on needing to get to 60 as quickly as possible it will probably go up more. That is with Fuely, the car computer is saying high 18's now. Hard to imagine a tune getting better mileage than the stock version. ?
  13. I know it was very noticeable on the Focus before and after. I feel like you would get a faster speed at the end, but who knows since the V-6 TT may deal with the heat better than the 2.0T does, or the fact that the 2.0T was tuned from the factory to run at the hairy edge advancing timing so any knock would retard timing significantly then inched it back up and you could feel that drop off when you got into 3rd gear. With the Edge and the 93 tune I feel it pull more and have way more boost in the end of the run but wonder if there could be more if the air was cooler and maybe the timing advanced more. Of course with the Focus I was using a Cobb AP to monitor things like ignition corrections so you could see it drop back when the FMIC was heat soaked and not correct as much and advance timing when a better FMIC was installed. I wish I had the Dragy then, or that I could launch that car as well as an Auto launches. Lol! All I know for certain is the amount the air temps increase and how slow they cool back down, lets just say they do not cool back down until you drive a good distance at a constant speed. Well without flogging it anymore. So it could not hurt and I bet they could tweak the tune to take advantage of it.
  14. The problem is they do not warm up enough to blow proper 'hot' heat out. When the temps may stay below 0 for a month as a time and all you get is luke warm heat it kind of sucks. ? And where there are no gains with an FMIC there is less power loss due to heat soaking the stock unit. If you keep Charge Air Temps lower you get less timing pulled when doing your runs or just when driving hard. Say on the Quarter you start with charge air temps at 8o degrees, by the end of the 1/4 your charge air temps are at at least 150 degrees if not more. With a better FMIC you may be at 90 degrees. With the stock unit you are pulling timing and losing precious power. Sure you do not gain but you lose less. I assume that the F-150 has the larger unit for better/consistent power delivery for towing and hauling.
  15. I ran a 5.17s 0-60 today and 13.59s @99.96mph quarter. That was at 78 degrees first thing this morning. ?
  16. I have read on here that the WasteGate rod can fail on these turbos, sadly it is internal and not replaceable. So it would cause it not to work properly. I assume if it breaks that the wastegate would just open on its own and not build full boost. And the only fix is a replacement turbo. Now if there are no other problems such as coolant leak or oil or something into the Cat and it has not become clogged with age then I would not think you need that. But it is part of the downpipe and right there so it may just be suggested to replace it if you have a lot of miles, which since it is a 2013 I assume you do. Personally since it is paid off and all and for its age I would source the turbo and downpipe myself, parts that is, and get a local garage to install it for you. That way you control costs more and only pay for labor time. Heck you could probably find a junk yard turbo with low miles cheap if you wanted to got that route or used parts. LKQ can get great parts for great prices. Heck if you are handy and had the time and tools you could probably do it yourself. ?
  17. I assume they did not change under hood much if any on the ST and this would probably fit. The ST fogs have vents next top them that on a normal model just feed into the wheel well but on the ones with the brake package they have ducted vents I believe for brake cooling. On first glance it looks like some sort of duct or guide could be fashioned to fee upward to behind the headlights, kind of like that opening on the Sport model. The hole for the Sport could be prettied up with a functional scoop to put behind it and send air upward and on the ST basically the same thing but not noticeable since it is already disguised from the factory, a nice opening there right beside the Fog and hidden from view that just needs some guidance upward. Just some plastic scoops behind the scenes to direct air and help get more cool air in. I would be all for jumping on getting colder and better flowing intake air on my ST since stock it sucks, literally, hot air in. My intake air temps alone are 20+ degrees over ambient when in motion.
  18. Cool. I have not even really looked to find it yet. But will keep it in mind. Thanks.
  19. You mix E85 with 93, there is a formula for it, so much E85 for so many gallons of 93 or 91 if that is all you got.
  20. I found it great before the tune, but wanted a little more and the tune did that. I liked the throttle response in Sport mode but not the trans hanging when you let off the gas, without shifting and then after what seemed way to long it would upshift. With the tune the throttle is like Sport mode without all the rev hangs and with the tune it just shifts better in both modes. It is just more fun to drive and seems, throttle and trans wise, where it should have been stock in the ST at least.
  21. And you see no problems heating in the winter, we do get some good coldness up here in Northern NY near the the Canadian Border. ?

I just noticed now that the times were C/D Estimated. Darn it. I read it a few weeks ago and did not catch that. Grrrr.
