Hey Tom When you hold it button for driver 1 and Driver 2, you will hear 2 beeps for each setting, not 1 beep for driver 1, and 2 beeps for driver 2. Just don't want you to be confused, whey not check it out in your owners manual, will be a lot clearer than my brief explanation. Joe

I"m getting tired of stressing the importance of Fords Premium Care Extended Warranty. Some disagree with me, but I would not be without it. Just a few weeks ago, had my wife's '09 MKS in for repairs - power steering pump, water pump, and cracked tranny bracket (whew) ! cost me my $100 deductible, without the warranty, would have been around $3,400. Now, is it worth it or not - YOU decide ! The car only had about 54,000 miles on it, is garage keep, and maintenance kept up on it, as per owners manual.

Set the mirror and seats for driver #1, then press and hold button #1 until you hear one beep, followed by another one, shortly after the 1st one. Then repeat for Driver 2m only holding button 2, for the same procedure. This should be outlined in your owners manual. If the problem still persists, then I would say that you do have a problem, will need the dealer to check it out

You really don't want shiny, you want soft and pliable. Try Connelly's leather products. Have been using them since my '93 SHO !

I had a '06 Explorer Limited, in the color you posted (dark stone). Had it 6 years, got tired of the harder ride, switched to my '12 MKX, which I love. Do what is best for you, but I see the Explorer you posted is a V8, just like mine was. Hope that you own a gas station, mine was terrible on gas mileage, also had the tow package. A friend got a new Explorer, I got to drive it, not that impressed. Hope that you find something that makes you happy.

My wife's sister got screwed, BIG TIME, about 3 years ago with an extended warranty on her Ford Five Hundred, that WAS NOT a Ford one. Cost $1,400, and when she took it in for a repair, that repair cost her $1,300, because it was not covered by that particular companies plan, If it was a Ford Premium Care warranty, the repair would have been covered. GO WITH FORD ONLY, NO OTHER COMPANIES!

How about MKX's, you doing them, too?

I would be more than very unhappy I would demand a new vehicle to replace your Edge. Where R U in the Northeast?

Could be the element, could be in the switch, just go to the dealer, save yourself the aggravation.

I'd probably go with the 2010 too. Yeah, price is higher, but mileage is low. Asking 22.5K, maybe they will go down to 20.5K or 21K !

Don't know what would cause this, very strange. I would take it back to your dealer, for another service appt.

And I wish that the center vents in my MKX would blow more toward the center of the car.

If this happened to you, if you had a Honda, Toyota, or other brand, would you still feel the same ? Just curious why so many are against Fords..

In all my years of driving (over 40), had 2 Oldsmobiles, wife had a Honday Accord, otherwise Taurus's, Explorers and Now an MKS & MKX, gotta love Fords !

Don't know what the dimensions are, but I doubt it would fit.

Double check with your owners manual. I know that it's in the manual for my MKX. I'd check, but the wife is out with the car right now.
