  1. The fluid specs are very clearly spelled out in the owner's manual - always go by that. Even within the same model year there can be changes.
  2. Simple - rent a storage shed just across the border and have the new wheels and tires shipped there. Buy a floor jack and a tire tool. Drive to the storage shed twice a year and swap out your wheels and tires. You guys are overthinking this......
  3. Tirerack has a bunch for $126 or less - the lowest one is $105. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Edge&autoYear=2015&autoModClar=Titanium&package=false
  4. They're right over there next to the pushrods! Try the GM forums - I hear they're still popular over there.
  5. No heated wiper park in either one. That must have been from an earlier one. This one is identical to the one I posted earlier.
  6. The bolt pattern came from the new CD4 platform which came from the European CD platform (Mondeo). The old Edge was CD3 which was a Mazda platform. They don't change them just for fun.
  7. Ford has never raised prices $3K on a similar model year to year. That's complete BS. They wanted to sell you a 2015 now. I wouldn't expect more than a $500 increase on a similarly equipped vehicle, if that much.
  8. That would never pass the legal test. Don't get me wrong - I think it's incredibly stupid, too but that's what happens when judges and juries reward stupidity without any personal responsibility.
  9. Then they're not really matching the price, are they?
  10. This is where it would be nice if Ford had more control - could force them to have certain tools like that.
  11. Exactly. They have black box recorders that you can activate when the problem occurs to capture all that info. Surprised they didn't try that already.
  12. It would be nice to have them available on MFT. Other mfrs do this.
  13. There is a FordService rep here that may be able to help. I'll contact them.
  14. You don't have to wait for rain - take the hose to it and soak it down really good for 20-30 minutes. Pour buckets of water around the problem area. Do everything you can to make it leak now. If it doesn't leak after all that then the chances are really good that it's fixed permanently. Then check it after the next couple of hard rains - if it doesn't leak after that I wouldn't worry too much about it.
  15. OMG - no way no how. That looks terrible (to me). But hey, if that's your cup of tea then go for it! It's your vehicle and your money.
  16. It's entirely possible they have fixed the problem and you won't have other issues. There won't be any mold if they replaced the carpet and padding unless it continues to leak. At this point it sounds like they've fixed the problem - that's why Ford won't exchange it. I think you need to wait and see if it leaks again. Take a hose to it and see if it still leaks.
  17. BTW - $1500 over 4 months is still a lot less than a new Edge payment in the same timeframe. So at least you're saving a little bit.
  18. There really aren't many changes between the 2015 and 2016 so I wouldn't expect any early build problems, but since those early builds are held for inspection it's possible that a normal retail order will arrive first. If it was me, I'd stick with a retail order just to be safe.
  19. Sounds like an improper seal. They'll have to get it corrected by the supplier, then get new replacement parts.
  20. $300 - $500 increase would be my guess.
  21. Just to be clear - there is a legitimate FDAF advertising fee added to each vehicle by Ford - typically around $400. BUT - that is already included in both the MSRP and the total dealer invoice price. It is NOT included in any online 3rd prty pricing such as edmunds or kbb or cars.com, etc.
