Cellbine, I have these since 08/11 nice product, 2 draw backs: the road grit get caught between the top outer edge of the glass and the deflector. lowering the window, scratches this part of the window. Then the grit falls on to the arm rest ect... Something to consider before buying.
  3. The more vehicles a dealer sells, gives him more options when he orders vehicles from Ford corporation "Priority satus", they, (dealers), strive to be #1. Told to me by a Ford sales manger.
  4. "He left handprints on the wheel" One of my pet peeves
  5. Anyone else have the black VIN bar codes printed on their window glass? Yes, I have that.
  6. Hello Dr. Pepper; Somewhere I have read, but can't recall where. That the Auto-up is IDS programmable in the 11 MKX. Supposedly only the limited edition was programmed that way. Check with your dealer service technician. JC
  7. With the lack of luck that you are having; and the roads that you are driving, Lower your deductible to the lowest that you can get.It will pay you back in the long run. My claims are from vandalism and that is what i did to save me quite of cash. 4 complete rims, 4 tires 16 lug nuts + towing = 5711.00. my out of pocket 250.00 and the Ins Co. paid for a set of wheel locks. The old set had 25k on them when stolen and 2 rims were scratched. Best Wishes and Better Luck, JC

  12. "I blow off my nuts instead of wiping them!" Now that sounds, "cool"
  13. I would take it to the dealers service dept.or body shop. This is a defective coating issue. I have seen this before on Fords products and the defective products are covered under product warranty. That's to say If you bought a chrome product and this happen it would be covered. I was a body repairmen and Ford always replaced their products at no charge. Jc
  14. Sounds to me like someone at the dealer change your vehicle setting to default. JC
  15. Sorry Folks, Not to hijack this post. Get a tube of RTV, remove cover, use enough rtv on the inside of the cover, reinstall cover. The car wash will not be able to dislodge, and a times break the 2 clips on the inside that holds the cover on. You will be able to remove the cover with a bit of persuasion if need be. JC

  17. You can also wrap the IA fob in aluminum foil, and hide it the vehicle. That works for me.
  18. Dealer integrity, is like, virtual reality. Prove it to them, then, it becomes a reality. Best Wishes, JC
  19. I agree with your opinion of the seats. IMO, with the cooled/heated option the seats have less bolster in the covering materials.
