    Can you get to the antenna on the roof externally, or must you drop the headliner to access? You have to access it by lowering the head liner at the rear, just enough to get to the get to it. It's not powered in some way, is it?  No.

    Sounds like a bad switch, I would remove the switch and check it with a Volt/ohms/ Meter.

I would call the concierge and question this, if not satisfied, then contact NHTSA and have "them" explain why the dealer won't replace the part needed. Best wishes
