  1. There might be some Dremel-tool-based appicators out there, and that would definitely help the correction be more even. But for tight spaces, usually the best route is to take a good microfiber cloth (or glove) and some finishing polish like Meguiar's 205 (since the haze/swirls are not bad yet), add elbow grease. No idea on the Mother's Powerball for this app. There are a few user reviews, mostly good. Not quite for paint, but these tools do exist: http://www.amazon.com/Anytime-Tools-MANIFOLD-ALUMINUM-Stainless/dp/B000HW9G6K/
  2. Just what the Dr ordered, thanks to Charles-Eric! http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/11753-upgrade-the-headlights-to-auto-light/ I know it's for a 2011, but maybe the 2010 is similar.
  3. I used Stoner's Invisible Glass, works pretty well.
  4. Can you believe that the SHO/MKS actually have an electronic noisemaker in lieu of a BOV???
  5. LOL ... Yeah, the tech constantly gets better, and usually to our benefit. The only problem I have is that because a lot of these systems do their work quietly in the background, when a trouble spot does arise, it can leave you high & dry because you have NO idea what to do. That's one of the reasons I get extended warranties, just easier to plan that way for me
  6. It is if you want them to last. I suppose you could skip it if you are quite sure the alignment is spot-on, or if you drive on glass-smooth roadways. But those are a distant memory now, even with new roads or resurfaced roads ...
  7. The 2011+ have adaptive tunes from the factory, so they can take advantage of different grades of gasoline. But if the engine has a problem, you might be running on tables for 89 or 91 gasoline when you have actually 93 in the tank. But if the engine is running well, then definitely, more powah, more mpg, hooray!
  8. Making progress ... I hope ... at least they are working with you and there are no hits to the pocket!
  9. If you have AWD, always replace all 4 tires, as a rule. If you have FWD, 2 at a time is fine. If only replacing 2 tires, new tires should go on the back in a FWD vehicle, to give them time to break in properly. At the next scheduled rotation, the new tires will be ready to serve as the driven tires. Alignment whenever you get tires is a must.
  10. Great pic of the Edge btw, Machan Why do you think the fuel economy is worse in the GCC, omar? Is it the constant high heat/dust in the air/etc?

Glad to hear you got the product & liked it, Burke, enjoy!
  12. I like it! Loud but not obnoxious Good going!
  13. I am sure Lulubelle will thrive under your care, mac Nice to know blueberry was well taken care of.
  14. Is that really you, Todd? Nice to see you on here!
  15. Do drain & fills at short intervals initially. As it thins out with each fill, should be easier to pump out more. Measure how much you are putting back in each time, if you can get the stated capacity out, that'd be perfect! You do have to use a flexible hose to get to the bottom. 16. Definitely check out the PTU fluid then. It uses 75w140 gear lube (specs in owner's manual). More useful info regarding the PTU in this thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/10914-ptu-leak-failures/
  17. Replace the brake booster? That'd be my first thought.
  18. Not really. I took a can of compressed air (like they use for computers) and cleaned the vicinity of the coils. You really don't have to worry about much after that, as the boots on the coils are bolted down and are designed to keep the spark plug wells clean. If you doing this work in a garage or covered area, you should be fine.
  19. They can always plastidip it and sell to the BMW Ice-loving folks
  20. There might be an issue with the SJB (smart junction box) - short in wiring ...
