  1. Wish I had room in my bEDGEt for these. Hope you and your family came through the storm OK.
  2. Most common cause is the electric fuel pump. How long has this been happening? Mine does it infrequently, but it is definitely annoying at that point.
  3. Kinda like the warning: don't put lead additives in an unleaded-fuel-only engine! Between the plastics and metallurgical chemistry, engine science is just getting very complex.
  4. The fact that there was a difference at all is worth investigating. A logical approach like akirby's would be my request to lend the results some weight.
  5. Good work! Now if only they made painter's tape in matching colors (or see thru) :D
  6. Thank you, Ford Probably don't even have the wiring harness in place for the SEL to have pwr pass seat.
  7. Anyone know how much power these things draw on initial startup? Wondering if issues are similar to fluorescent bulbs that also use ballasts, and have a higher-than-bulb-rating-draw on startup. Maybe a capacitor placed in series (could be built into ballast) would help in that instance.
  8. I wish the passenger side seat had power options. I have cloth interior, and sadly, no power passenger seat. I guess only available on leather interiors?
  9. It is the headlamp switch. You pull it out towards you to activate the fog lights and push back in to turn them back off.
  10. One-world coolant? From what I have heard about Dex-Cool, it is not good, at least in GM vehicles. About Ford & their "Orangina": http://macsworldwide.wordpress.com/2010/11/01/ford-goes-orange/ Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Prediluted Recommended by Ford Motor Company; meets warranty requirements Orange-colored, longer-life, ethylene glycol-based antifreeze/coolant for use in gasoline and diesel engines Provides year-round antifreeze, anti-boil and corrosion protection Ready-to-use. No need to add water. The 50/50 mixture of coolant and treated (purified) water provides freeze protection down to -34°F (-37°C) and boiling protection up to 265°F (129°C) Use only when specified Use when Ford Specifications WSS-M97B44-D2 or WSS-M97B44-D are specified Do not mix different colors or types of coolant in your vehicle. Make sure the correct coolant is used. Mixing of engine coolants may harm your engine’s cooling system. The use of an improper coolant may harm engine and cooling system components and may void the warranty. Do not use this product in systems originally equipped with the fluorescent green-colored Motorcraft® Premium Antifreeze/Coolant, meeting Ford Specification ESE-M97B44-A, or with the yellow-colored Motorcraft® Gold Antifreeze/Coolant, meeting Ford Specification WSS-M97B51-A1, or with the dark green-colored Motorcraft® Specialty Green Engine Coolant, meeting Ford Specification WSS-M97B55-A [*]Meets or exceeds the requirements of WSS-M97B44-D2, GM 6277M and ASTM D 3306 [*]Contains a bittering agent [*]Available in one-gallon bottles or 55-gallon drums
  11. I'd say definitely check the headlight unit, with the lights off, with a flashlight. May be something stuck to it or there's a hairline crack or something. Could be inside OR outside the unit. Bulb could have the defect too. If you look at the original pics you posted, the "finger" is highlighted, instead of shadowed in the later pic.
  12. Even if the fogs don't add any light, they look pretty darn good! Great pics. Did you tap into the existing lighting circuit, and how did you route the wiring?
  13. Haven't found any either. Tho someone had mentioned an EBay seller at one point, I think. Probably a one-off.
  14. ^ Tempted to say you are near a mine ... great setting!
  15. What year is the mustang? is that a custom grille on it?
  16. Nice job. It's all really come together!
  17. Welcome, from a non-Canuck! Love some pics :hyper:
  18. That's right about the same ranges for mine. I have 76K so far. I have come close to 21 mpg in 50/50. Maybe a tuneup or decarboning would help.
