    You need to drive for a while before it goes.a few miles. From the owners manual of a 2011: After inflating your tires to the manufacturers recommended inflation pressure as shown on the Tire Label (located on the edge of drivers door or the B-Pillar), the vehicle must be driven for at least two minutes over 20mph (32km/h) before the light will turn off.

    What Sync version you got? Did you update it or dealer? I am absolutely sure before the 3.6.2 it did show on my car.

    You can get a used one off eBay, just make sure it has the same FCC number & the same buttons as yours. Since you already have 2 working fobs, you can easily program it yourself following the procedure in the owners manual. As for the emergency key, if really need one, you can get a new uncut one also from eBay and cut just like any normal key. Note: when I got a used remote & key for my MKX, the key profile was bigger than my key, so simply cutting it again made it work for me. So you might also be lucky. Or you can find a used fob with an uncut key also on eBay.

    That 8K or 4 months is part of Al-Jazeera's extended warranty, the 5 years/200k. The original Ford Factory warranty is 3 years/60K bumper to bumper & 5-years/100K for the driveline. Aljazeera provides the additional coverage as insurance policy, so you will have to abide by their terms, unfortunately. Here in Qatar, they still do the service every 5000 km. But since my MKX has premium care (from the factory for all Middle East Lincolns), they do the free service every 8000km or 6 months, as per Ford's terms.

    The recommended service by Ford in Middle East is 8K or 6 months (not 4 months). You can reset the oil life monitor to 50% & it will remind you at 8K or 6 months. You don't have to do the service as per Dealer's "Full Service" crap. Just tell them you need the Oil + Filter & multipoint inspection. Show them your owners manual & tell them you only need the items mentioned. (Don't forget the PTU oil every 15 or 30K, won't expect your dealer to remember) For RDS, I got the same reply, they will check. They once tried something, but still doesn't work! Still waiting for any other solution. Wipers, I bought TRICO Teflon Shields for their looks, but the are also very good even after nearly 1 year (still better than new stock!). Headlights: HID! Roof seals, I think you need to lubricate them with silicone spray, I am still looking for it here in Qatar.

    Hey Arabski, since your in Bahrain with a 2013 Edge, as per this, your Edge should have a drain plug to change the PTU oil every 15,000 or 30,000 Km. Take care.

    After clicking on the picture, I remember it would then be saved to MFT. You then should select it from the list of available wallpapers to save it as your wallpaper.

    Since the 3.02 (performance) upgrade, the resolution changed to 800x384. But older pics should still work. Try a different USB drive.

    Thanks for your efforts. May I add a few suggestions? Philips makes a 30mm LED Festoon replacement bulb that is great fit. http://www.amazon.com/Philips-129416000KX1-XtremeVision-Interior-Exterior/dp/B009NOZ5BI/ref=pd_sim_auto_7 You can use some acetone (nail polish remover) to help remove the glue that joining the lens to the housing, would make separating them a little easier.

    Thanks a lot Haz. Very helpful as always. So now my MKX has extended warranties on the APIM, PTU & Booster! hopefully we'll also get the door lock actuators soon! May I also ask if you have a PDF version of "13M01 - Middle East PTU Extended Warranty"? Member thirdgenlxi already provided me the text content, but a PDF would always be more helpful.

    The MKX front seats have Cooled/Heated seats, its a different type all together with 3 settings for cooling & 3 for heating. Uses a fan with a thermoelectric plate (Peltier effect). The Edge has electric heating elements in the seats.

    Also locking with the keypad (7/8+9/0 buttons) will arm it. The door lock button inside, if used to lock the doors & then closing the door (driver and passenger sides) and the button on the outside door handles (driver and passenger sides) used for Intelligent keyless lock. Both way also arm the system.

    I don't think the Escape's mirrors would fit. Completely different base & mirror shape. But, in 2012, Ford changed the side mirrors to a smaller design, so you probably could swap in 2009-2011 mirrors (complete with the base). 2007-2008 did not have the blind spot mirrors.

    Usually the seat back & bottom, the parts you actually sit on & touch would be leather (higher grade) while the sides & back are vinyl (or a lower grade leather). But I don't have solid info on the Edge, so this might not be the case.

    Haz, I agree that "Sport" mode & "selectshift" manual mode are both in the 2013/2014 SE, SEL, Limited & Sport models. What I meant was the "Temporary" manual mode which enables manual mode just by pulling a "paddle" without even shifting the shift lever to "S". This "Temporary" manual mode is only in Sport models that have the paddle shifters. It is also stated in the 2013 MKX owners manual.

    Ok, after rereading the source book & owners manual for 2013 model year, it seems I misunderstood the temporary shifting feature, it only applies to the "paddle shifters", in other words, only sport models & 2013/14 MKX.
