For those having problems with recerculating air setting sticking through a restart of the engine, turn off the a/c and then press the recirculate button (effectively turning on the a/c using the recirculate button). If the a/c then remains on until the engine is turned off, the recirculate function will automatically be on when you restart the engine.

Reset the oil life to 50% after an oil change & you would get the oil change warning after 8000 km. It would then serve as a real reminder in case you forget.

As stated, the camera delay feature is off. The cancel button was removed in V3.5.1. One more feature presented in v3.5.1 and is also there in v3.6.2 is the ability to turn off the display.

Sajid, I know in Qatar Ford's keyless remotes used to work on 300 MHz frequency, but have noticed that on 2013 models, they started to come with 433 MHz. So double check if your car has the same frequency as the purchased remott

Hey Sajid, I know a lot of Edge owners in KSA would love to have it activated, I am sure you can charge them a small amount (like sensor cost + 100 SAR) and you will quickly recover the cost of the VCM.

Your rational would have made if the activation charges went to Ford. In reality, the Dealer will charge for the labor only, so nothing goes to Ford. Furthermore, what Sajid is saying is that some SEL Edges where sold to customers with Keys that already have the remote start button (note that the Edge in question is an Export, sold outside US). To be honest, it is an idiot mistake from the selling Dealer who should have known what they are selling!

I would say the range is acceptable & can reach close to 100 meters (300 ft) as advertised.

How short is the range? The factory system is good for about 100 meters in its best case (no buildings or barriers in between).

Ok, so I updated my 2011 MKX MLT from 2.11 to 3.0.2 to 3.2.2 through the Syncmyride website and then to 3.5.1 using the TSB downloaded file. At the time I started getting the 911 assist error (911 Assist is disabled here living outside USA). After the 3.5.1 update I remember the startup logo/animation used to show the Lincoln logo followed by the THXII Audio animation. Also the logo was Lincoln's new logo. After the dealer fixed the 911 Assist error, the animation now doesn't show complete, the THXII animation does not show at all (only some very rare cases) and the Lincoln logo in the boot animation is the old Lincoln star. It seems to depend on the type of available light. I noticed that yellow street lights cause graininess. At darker areas without yellow street light the camera image would be clearer.

I get the same feeling, mostly feel air coming from the seat cushion only, but in rare circumstances I might feel it from the back also. I would guess that there is only 1 fan and that there are ducts directing air to the back, hence it feels very week or even not felt at all.

Dear Sajid, I can't help you regarding the Chinese VCM-II, but I would suggest that when you take your car to the Dealer for any service, try to talk to the a technician (not the reception) that all you need is to simply turn on the "remote start" program. Technicians will usually be more understanding.

Why you can't program a new key with only one working key? My best guess is for security. Having both keys available at time of programming is the only way to ensure that the person performing the programming is authorized to do so. Else, whenever you give your car & single key to anybody (valet parking, car wash...etc.) you would be at risk that someone might program a new key without your knowledge.
