  1. dshamer, I agree with WWWPerfA_ZN0W. Keep an eye on it, and don’t hesitate to take it back to the dealer if the symptoms persist. You also have the option to take your vehicle to another Ford Dealer to seek a second opinion. If you decide to go with another dealer, I recommend contacting the Lincoln Customer Relationship Center again to have them look into available options to assist. Tricia

You’re on the right track by contacting your Ford Dealer and having it diagnosed. Since your vehicle is out of the new-vehicle limited warranty, be sure to speak with your service manager, as he is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed. You can check in the Warranty Guide, on page 19. It's available online here, and it will list what is covered under the “Emission Warranties for Cars." The service manager at the dealer can also confirm coverage as well. Tricia
