After thinking about it, it seems unusual that both sides would misbehaving at the same time. More likely that a connector has some green crusties causing the problem. I think a quick check of the connector at the lighting module might be worth ruling out.

I'd think a failing PTU causing this noise is possible, but a little unusual. I read in a different forum where a wobbling sound from the PTU was traced to excessive play in the pinion bearing (where the driveshaft connects.) Q. Have you done PTU fluid changes? Q2. You've got a 2012, right?

Tires can cause this. Cupped, under pressure, defects. Check pressure, look for uneven wear, balance, try rotating and see if the sound changes (front to back.) Other than that, I'd look at the bearings.

I believe so. I plugged in your VIN at the Ford website and thats the p/n that was returned. Picture looks the same as what you posted. Too soon for a TPMS battery to die. Why are you needing just one sensor.?

Usually the coils fail due to not changing the plugs by 90k.(Go too long on plugs, the gaps get too wide, they will cause them to draw too much current and that extra current causes the coils to over heat. And fail.) As you change below the recommended maintenance specification, should last for a long, long time. The most common failure isn't the coils themselves, rather the rubber boots harden, start to crack and leak spark.

Might be worth just replacing the entire mirror assembly. Selling for around $150 (loaded) on Ebay.

If i remember correctly, you have a 2013, right? How many miles? What did the dealer quote (if you don't mind sharing?)

A hesitation has been reported in other forums after a software update. Seems the update is the cause. BTW, before buying new tires, make certain you have identified why one tire was in such bad shape (IE tie rod, ball joint, etc.)

If I read this correctly, the actuator is still on the RDU but they added an electric clutch to the end of the PTU. (Basically they can disconnect the driveshaft from turning.)

Thought that the electric AWD actuator was attached to the front of the rear differential.

Next time it happens try using the steering wheel controls. If the radio still doesn't work, or the radio comes back, it's probably in the APIM (sync module). If the steering wheel controls do work, it's probably either in the ACU (the radio) or the electric antenna. I'd suspect corrosion where the antenna plugs in (but thats just a guess.)

To reset the liftgate module on your 2018, pull out fuse #76 and leave out 10 minutes. This fuse is located on the bottom side of the power distribution box (the fuse box in the engine compartment.) You have to remove the upper layer of fuses to access it. Procedure is on private 257 of owners manual. Does this only occur with the fob, or other means, such as the dash or tailgate switch?

Probably just a dust/noise shield. Maybe they use a slight up pressure to hold the window shut tight? Ford calls them "some shields". Just looked them up at Levittown Ford and they're now $99.67 ea. They worth it? Was to me, but I only paid in the $70's few years ago.

Hard to tell, but based on the fact that it only occurs in park or neutral, think I'd suspect the torque converter. Broken fin(s) or stator.(?)

Looking at the 2013 owners manual, its recommends 150,000 miles, unless you tow a trailer or do a lot of slow driving or idling, in which the recommend every 30,000 miles. Personally, I use every 60,000 miles.

@Palladini what exactly did the mechanic do? Was this Ford dealership or independent? Does this happen only a certain times, such as when it rains, or just occasionally? If when it rains, after it sits outside or when driving? If sitting outside, is car parked at an angle when it happens? (Some cars leak when parked front facing up, but not when rear facing up.) Believe you have a 2015, possible causes on passenger side include a leaking heater core, clogged AC drain and external water leak around door hinge. Coolant has smell, clogged AC drain, water smells musty. If external leak, dealer can fix permanently and Ford pays.

Try resetting the module.
