  1. Has anyone had any issues with the sensors? I'm at a loss to why Ford never decided to make a set for the sport. In my perspective they could have been added to one of the various packages that Ford offers when ordering an edge. They're leaving money on the table.
  2. I completely agree! Wear and tear on a 11 year old steering wheel is one thing. That condition for a 2 year old steering wheel is not acceptable!
  3. Apologies for any confusion. Right thread wrong person. Redlancer is running 275/45.
  4. Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your new ride! Wow she certainly has low miles! Might get the award for lowest mile edge for that year! May she serve you well for many years to come!
  5. Definitely not a body guy in the least, so my advice is exactly what you paid for it. hahaha I'd suggest shopping the job around and tell them that it insurance is not covering it and you are paying out of your pocket. For example the cost to repair the holes after removing the front license plate it would be $400. The quote you received might be on par for the amount of work that needs to be done, or they may be gouging you. You won't know until you shop it around. Not really what you were looking for but some times it helps to look at it from a different POV.
  6. Welcome to the group! Definitely got yourself one hell of a gem there! Looking forward to seeing some mods.

  8. Congrats and welcome to the forum!
  9. Thanks for sharing your discovery. Interested in seeing them on your edge! Please post pics when you can!
  10. I was actually referring to gen 1.5 models. The ME versions come with drain holes. For whatever reason Ford feels that they are not needed here. As far as I know the current replacements for gen 1.5 have drain holes. A coworker had theirs replaced last month (2014 sport) and he said there wasn't a drain hole. I referred him to the forum and FEWW. Hopefully he will join. Yes 2015 and up come with drain holes yet we still have failures....
  11. Part of the problem with the PTU is the fluid that Ford dictates as a lifetime product. This is the same PTU that Mazda uses and if you check a few of their forums you will see numerous complaints. At least Mazda did do somewhat right by their customers and offered an separate extended warranty on the PTU itself. Ford should also make replacement PTU with the drain hole. The middle eastern ones come with it. Its not like they have to reinvent the wheel.
  12. It looks like it will help the car to breath better, wallet not so much! Any idea of what the price would look like?

    New guy!

Congrats on your acquisition and welcome to the forum!!
  14. Thanks for the heads up! I'll order them after brunch!
  15. Horrible customer service! I actually enjoy spending money within my community and support local businesses. Granted you can save money by shopping online. Makes me scratch my head when local business say they cant compete with ID companies and vendors. Keep doing crap like that and they will put them selves out of business!
  16. I know its troublesome and a sever PIA, if it happens again call Ford Roadside assistance and have them tow it to the dealership. They can't deny warranty diagnostics if its dead when it gets there. IIRC Ford Roadside assistance is free and or part of your warranty.
