  1. Upload video to youtube! Definitely interested in this mod!
  2. As your neighbor and security threat from the North, I just want to do the Canadian thing and apologize. Sorry. With that out of the way, please help me with this; how is the strongest superpower in the world being "bullied" to justify this behavior?
  3. At least it seems you have now neutralized the US security threat posed by Canada through these tariffs....
  4. Had nothing to measure the angle, so its just a wild guess. It looked pretty crazy standing infront of it and you werent able to walk up the road on the ice, it was too slippery. Like Omar said, it was a gradual incline; you turn off the main road into an alley. You will see within a couple of meters you climb two stories, i know photos are deceptive but compare the distance you travel to the height of the cars and the parking garage. Now imagine that piece of road covered with ice! Edit: doesnt look crazy at all in the photo lol Guess its the angle of the camera on the google car roof. Oh well....
  5. Yes, it essentially runs as a FWD when cruising. Yes, it means less parasitic loss and better fuel economy. No, the driver doesnt do anything, the car decides when to send the power where. I drove my Edge Sport up a 25 degree (wont be surprised if it was more than 25) incline that was solid ice (you could not walk up the hill...). Car was sitting on a set of 20 inch conti wintercontacts and it was just about a non event. You could actually feel how the car was sending power to wheels with traction. I actually made my wife drive the exact same piece of road with me to supposedly guide her up but she went up with no assistance! A poor VW Jetta tried to do same incline right before I went, and managed 0.5m before the car just spun its wheels and started skidding backwards. Overtook a semi at highway speeds and hit black ice, no adjusting drive modes, no locking hubs, nothing, car tracked true and straight and got me safely to the other side. I also watched a video the other night of a 2019 Edge doing an axle twister obstacle where one front wheel and one rear wheel was off the ground and it made it comfortably. In fact, something that really surprised me was that as the car crept forward the front wheel that was in the air wasnt spinning indicating the car was braking the wheel to effectively send all the power to the wheel with traction. You will probably need a 4x4 with low range to go rock crawling but for your day to day use, you will never need more than what an Edge AWD brings to the table.
  6. Thats what I use to do to get the longevity of a synthetic sealant and the wet look of a carnauba. In hindsight, its probably a little over the top... I am now running SONAX Polymer net (and no it doesnt last a full Edmonton winter) but I top-up every wash with Turtle Wax's Wax and Dry. The wax and dry has very low durability but because you use it with every wash it gives pretty good results. Combo I will be sticking with for now. Will probably switch to Wolfgang for this winter to see if I make it through.
  7. I can already see the for sale advert by the dealership "well maintained 2015 Edge sport, great condition, new tires, 1x lady driver, never raced...." Poor new owner; if only they knew.
  8. 6.4 sounds a little slow for a tuned Edge Sport imho. Unless you are like 1600m above sea level?
  9. Looks cool. What I am interested in, did you launch the car or just step on the gas?
  10. My winter tires are on a set of 20's (stock 21's) and the difference is negligible. I too was hoping for a softer ride and if it was softer the plan was to swop to a set of 20s for summer aswell and get rid of the 21s
  11. I get the same in my 16 Gen2 Sport and have experienced the same in a 2015 F150 3.5 EB.
  12. I believe the size of the brake rotors on the sport requires atleast 18s. There is such a small price difference between 18 and 20, you might aswell do 20s.
  13. That is properly quick! congrats on the new car!
  14. I have a 16 sport and my Active Noise Cancellation takes care of the road noise but the squeaks and rattles are driving me bonkers...
  15. Edge went in for Oil change today at Ford. Obviously took my own oil as they charge $100 for 5l of Fully synthetic and Walmart sold Castrol FTT for $28 this weekend. They are also servicing the sunroof (finally) and apparently there is a recall on the back window (risk to shatter in cold when using demister) that they are looking at. We dont get a free wash with our services LOL!
  16. Just to clear up some confusion; there is no sensor that scans the ground beneath the lift gate making sure there is nothing in its way. There is a mechanism that will stop the liftgate from trying to close when something is in its way but in order for that to be triggered, it need to actually incur some resistance.
  17. Turbo souldnt be affected by carbon build up.
  18. There is no such thing. Same thing happened to me this weekend, I was loading a big BBQ and when I stepped over the trolley to lift the BBQ, my foot triggered the sensor, it started closing with me standing there holding a giant BBQ. Actually had to put the BBQ down and try again without triggering the lift gate.
  19. I go to the kitchen, get the wife's silicon spatula, wrap the micro fiber around the head of the spatula and boom, can get into gaps like the more expensive windshield tool without spending a cent.
  20. Irrelevant if before and after was done on the same dyno. 10% on a stingy dyno is 10% unless the have some strange sliding scale calibration... That V3 tune looks similiar to what you get with those cheap ebay +2 PSI plug and play chips.
  21. From the front it looks like a Tucson
  22. Here is the video. Its not 100% instant, but pretty damn close. https://youtu.be/G6r_yw7FjFM ( )
