This is the Ford tool I bought from Tire Rack several years ago. Used it my Mustang and a Focus. Worked like a charm.

Maybe this will be of some help to you: TPMS learn & relearn procedures

It's a great little app. I've been using it on my Mustang for years, primarily to monitor boost, Intake air temp (IAT1) and intake air temp after the intercooler (IAT2). This thread inspired me to set up a vehicle profile for my Nautilus.

2018 2.0 6F35 Trans feels weird after fluid change

I'm sure there's a logical explanation but I have no idea what it is. Glad it sorted itself out for you. -

3.5L V6 - Half Of Engine Has More Vibrations (Bank 2)

I wouldn't base anything by what you feel on the engine cover. It's not a good indicator because its not a very solid piece and not very solidly attached either. -
3.5L V6 - Half Of Engine Has More Vibrations (Bank 2)

If the car runs well and your not hearing anything untoward and there are no codes coming up my best guess would be that you're spidy senses need recalibrating. -
Clearing customs and paying duties are 2 entirely different things. When you clear customs you pay the GST and PST and duties if any are applicable. In the case of US car parts you are paying zero, nada, null. Feel free to have the last word. These were mine. ?

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this. I have spent well in excess of $10,000 on my Mustang in US manufactured parts over the years and not once did I pay duty fees. Freight and taxes only. On the few occasions that UPS delivered items along with a brokerage invoice, I told them no thanks and didn't accept the delivery. I then went on to clear customs on my own which is a simple process if you take a little time to research it on UPS's website.

I'm having a problem with the customs/duties charges. Duties on automotive parts & accessories imported from the USA is 0%. Clearing customs can be done by the customer also at no cost. UPS tries to pull off this legal scam on Canadians all the time.

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out to your satisfaction Claude. I think the size of the turbo could be the limiting factor with the 2.0 in attaining meaningful gains.

You CAN Turn Your Liftgate Kick Sensor Off (Gen2)
handfiler replied to Gadgetjq's topic in Accessories & Modifications
This was a programmable option on my Sorento. Its odd that Ford/Lincoln doesn't offer it. On the other hand I've never had an issue with the lift-gate closing on me while loading/unloading. This might be more of an issue for people with...... -
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
handfiler replied to ThugFordEdge3.5's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Are you referring to the brake flex hoses that connect the calipers to the brake lines or the actual brake lines? -
If the amp has gain control, you might have it set too high. I had this issue on a previous installation and corrected it by turning it down a tad and letting the volume on the head unit do its thing.

Amazing cleaner for car leather .. and cheap
handfiler replied to enigma-2's topic in Appearance - Detailing, Wash & Wax
Pretty nondescript packaging but nothing compares to Leatherique for semi-aniline leather. No silicone, no wax, no petroleum in the ingredients. Does a good job of reconditioning my finger tips too. ? -
I did the first oil change last night and while I was at it I installed the Ronin easy drain valve at the same time. Oil looked good at only 1,268 km but oil life was down to 17%. The entire process was straightforward and I managed to not spill any oil during the process. There are enough YouTube videos out there that show you how not to do it. ? I found it awkward to control the out flow by holding the drain plug in a partially removed position while lying on my back under the car. The oil is hot and and its generally a PITA! Being able to control the rate of flow and being able to direct it into the drain pan with a 5/8 hose attached to the drain tool should make things a lot easier the next time. This drain valve is also convenient for extracting small quantities of oil for oil analysis samples. All in all this drain valve is well thought out and well made. Not cheap but worth it IMHO. I'll add some more images of the drain process when I do the next oil change but that could be a while at the rate I put on the miles.

What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?
handfiler replied to WWWPerfA_ZN0W's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Un-farging-believable! I would take it back and ask to speak to the owner. Let him know directly what screw ups he has working for him and go from there. I feel for you bud. -
ST vs ST-Line is kind of like German beer vs American beer. They look similar but one is much better. ?
-
Personally I think it diminishes the ST brand even further. Should have named it something else.

Congratulations on your purchase! Coming from a 2016 Sorento I can vouch for the excellence of the Korean products. -
I submitted a request a few weeks ago for: TWNTRBO. Still waiting on confirmation of approval.

Best way to remove armor all interior shine?
handfiler replied to tazz042's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
Armor All contains Silicone and petroleum distillates. One of the worst products to use on plastics and particularly on rubber as a protectant. It's greasy and is attracts dust. It's absolute proof that advertising works. -
From one Fred to another, welcome to the forum.
