  1. I think 87 octane is the limiting factor to having meaningful gains with a tune. 91 and up is where the gains are more noticeable. You should reach out to Torrie with regard to tuning your Edge. I spoke with him at length about tuning my Lincoln. He seems like a stand up guy and knows this platform inside out.
  2. There are less destructive alternatives. Tennis ball on a string comes to mind.
  3. Having an on/off switch that defaults to on. It seems that there's a market for this type of device and I'm thankful that there is.
  4. For some the auto start/stop function is a non issue. For some like myself it's an ongoing annoyance so I contacted AUTOSTOP ELIMINATOR to see if they had any plans to offer something for the Nautilus. It turns out they do but due to COVID-19 they haven't been able to procure a Nautilus to create the installation procedure. The 2019 - 2020 Nautilus and the 2020 Ford escape use the same module part# AE015 which plugs inline between the Gateway Module and the Gateway Module harness. On the Escape the install takes a minute, on the Nautilus it's a little more involved. It took me 30 minutes taking my time to do the installation. Not too difficult for the average do it yourself-er providing you don't have Popeye type forearms. I dealt with Travis the owner. He helped me out by by providing a link for the relevant information to do the installation. I'm more than happy with the results. The on/off switch is now a true on/off function and no longer defaults to on when you start the car.
  5. Claude, Your girlfriend has impeccable taste when it comes to cars ??
  6. I agree this is the better choice for a quick disconnect for automotive applications. I use them on both cars and on my bike.
  7. Plenty of information here: Tuning Section
  8. No reason why that bit of scoring would have a significant impact on the lifespan of the pads or rotor providing the calipers are functioning properly.
  9. This would be a good place to start: Faraday Pouch
  10. Congratulations. Great choice for a vehicle and a great choice for a forum. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found here.
  11. It looks pretty straightforward to me. ECHOMASTER appears to be the manufacturer of this Ford accessory. ECHOMASTER Dash Cam Ford/Lincoln Dash cam Installation
  12. Actually hot weather is a bit harder on a car battery than cold weather. Cold weather just brings the symptoms of a dying battery to your attention on the coldest of days because of the reduced cranking amps. Cold vs Hot Weather Re. Battery Life
  13. With regard to the Mroinge, the translation leaves a bit to be desired. The proper procedure for function selection is to power up the unit then select the required function and then connect it the battery. Once connected to the battery the selection is locked until you disconnect.
  14. It's an expensive maintenance charger with a desulphation function. If your battery is in need of that process it's time for a new one anyway. By the way Edgingage and I live in Canada so $205 not $93.
  15. $205 is grossly overpriced for a maintenance charger IMHO. I have several vehicles that are all connected to maintenance chargers. 2 of them are Battery Tender Plus, the third is a Battery Tender Junior. I think they're overpriced and under powered. My favorite is the cheap 5.5 amp Mroinge MBC055 maintenance charger currently hooked up to my Nautilus. It covers wet cell, AGM and Lithium as well as 6 and12 volt. $43 Canadian at Amazon. Mroinge MBC055
  16. For a few seconds there I thought you had purchased some fancy suspension components.
  17. You have to ask yourself what good is oil if it's not being circulated throughout the engine.
  18. LOL! April fools to you too ?
  19. Owning a 2012 was an extreme challenge. Factory ordered and traded in 11 months later at an $8,000 loss. Finding a dealer to take it in on trade was also a challenge. I was a member at FocusFanatics and they indeed were a great source of information.
  20. It's possible that the 2020's have been further revised to quieten them down more so than the post March 2019 revision. Mine is a May 23 2019 build and its a clinker. It's all good knowing it is what it is.
  21. If it's normal for the RDU to be audible during the self test. Maybe yours is faulty. ?
  22. LOL! I never get tired of their music. RIP Lux.
  23. Nice write up. There's a reason why Ford products are so quiet. They use sound deadening materials everywhere.
