I had a chance to double check the wifes ride yesterday and there is no menu for heated seats. I noticed c_bova has a sport...can anyone with an SEL confirm if you have this menu? Or anyone in the "know"....is this a model specific menu? Can't believe they would do that but who knows.

That is what I had the dealer install and is the one of the factory options

Damn...how the hell would that disappear? Are those displays driven by the mft or do they have their own control modules? Just wondering if this is another mft gremlin.

c_bova...do you mean you have a setting for this in your left gauge cluster? I don't have a menu for the seats and I think the other menus are either auto or last setting.

They are controlled through MFT.

Huh...got my credit card statement and only one of the two transactions are showing. Anyone else that did this more than once see the same thing? It is close to my statement close date but new activity doesn't show anything either.

Never checked that. But can you confirm if your heated seats turn on? I could swear mine did last year but this year they don't. Double checked the settings and there is nothing for seats so I am not sure anymore.

Don't think it is sold out since I did see the stock finder was showing some stores had it but when you try to add it to cart it fails.

Wasn't available in mine but if I cleared out my history and went back I could use one of the other zip codes. Then at check out I selected a local store.

I was able to pick up five...took a few tries to get the irder through then the pick up was messed up since the computer system was down...luckily the guts were ok with just making a hand written note that i picked mine up. Thanks for the heads up.

What zip did you use? Showing as 21.99 for me.

I think the ones that have it have extra controls on the steering wheel.

I have not but check out the torque forum...I think there were threads about this and which ones worked.

Haven't done it with the Edge but have done as you mentioned with the lock. But I recommend picking up some pipe insulation. I store a piece by the spare tire and use it on the edge of the trunk/tailgate to protect it.

I think most cars do just not sure how effective they are or if they all work just as well.

Honestly not sure which car but neither are Fords. But also don't know how they got hit...not sure if it was old school siphoning or if they pulled a line to drain. Just hoping the a-holes didn't drill the tank.

Never cared about not having one until this week. With the gas shortage around this area I would like to have a locking door or cap...know someone that got their tank siphoned.

When MFT reads the text to you does it lower the radio volume? Ours doesn't seem to, plus I find it reads the message too fast so you end up missing the message. I find it easier and clearer to use other apps to do this. Just wondering if this is another thing my system doesn't do correctly.

My experiences with cheap Chinese products hasn't be all that positive. While I will admit a few things have been great- tires are not something I would take a chance on. It is one thing if a cheap tablet bricks but if the tires fail you have a much more serious situation. Not worth the price difference to me...just my 2 cents.
