  1. I've had t at happ n to me, but on y occasion lly. I had alw ys thought it was related to the micr phone picking up ext aordinary noise. ?
  2. If you crawl under the car, it's just an open tube that sticks down a couple on inches. A blast of air should open it, but I would follow up with a can of Lubegard to kill any mold. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0007PHD0S/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1475951990&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Lubegard+96030+Kool-It+Evaporator+and+Heater+Foam+Cleaner Here's a Youtube video on how to do this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Bi22mdXj3wM The drain in located at item #4. .
  3. Although unrelated, parts of this post may be helpful. Would take a LOT of changes to add Sync to an 07 however. Your best option may be to consider an aftermarket unit. http://www.taurusclub.com/forum/120-5th-6th-gen-electronics-security-audio-visual/176592-adding-sync-2008-navigation.html#/topics/176592?_k=gnlztp
  4. Make them really spiffy, put a blue dot lens in the middle of each taillight. Real chick magnet. ?
  5. Had this happen to me once, turned out I had specified an east (street address) instead of a west. {123 EAST Anywhere St. instead of 123 WEST Anywhere St.}.
  6. Why mess with those puny wheels, think big!
  7. Free SaferCar Mobile App for Android and Apple devices "Register your vehicles to be notified by NHTSA if a safety issue is discovered. The app also makes it simple to submit complaints to NHTSA regarding possible safety problems with your vehicles." Download Android version from google Play store Download Apple version from the iTunes store
  8. Isn't that the crap you put into your washer resovior and it made a complete mess of you washer system? Yea, I could just see Rainx coming out with "orange" Rainx Wiper Blades. lol
  9. No, I thing their all still black https://www.rainx.com/product/wiper-blades/rain-x-latitude-water-repellency-wiper-blades/#.V_W7tRkpDqA
  10. ... I should have added that I'm certain it's right, I read it on the Internet.
  11. I don't believe that any personal settings are deleted, channel settings, etc. are all retained. .
  12. Switch off for the car wash, on for driving, off for light mist, on for rain, etc. Im a control freak, don't like the car making common decisions for me.
  13. It is sounding like their may be a more serious problem. Hope they are able to find it.
  14. They're giving too much control to the computers. One glitch and your toast.
  15. Great pictures, thanks. Glad you figured it out and it wasn't expensive. Remember not to change the position of the seat or put ant pressure on it (laying it upside down to put anything on the seat) while it's out of the car; unless you check the recliner synchronization, or it may fail later on. Service manual makes a "big" deal on this.
  16. Ta Daaaa! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0027QWNI2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1475607256&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=auto+visor+organizer&dpPl=1&dpID=41h4UU8-R1L&ref=plSrch
  17. I have an 09 MKX, and had the booster replaced. Nope, not covered under recall. I used the extended warranty but still cost $100 oop.
  18. I hate menus. Give me knobs and buttons. Dozens of knobs and buttons to play with. At least I don't need to take my eyes off the road to read the menus when using knobs and buttons. Sync is "nice" but I can't begin to remember all of the commands.
  19. Seen these at the store this last weekend. Anyone ever use these? Did they work as advertised (deposits rainx on the windshield when wiping).
  20. Have the dealer remove it at your next oil change.
  21. That's great, easy fix. Good to know, photos may help someone else with this problem in the future. This post will describe how to add photos (I use Photobucket). http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13034-how-to-use-this-site-post-photos-your-control-panel-etc/?do=findComment&comment=101627
  22. How does this work. If I read the manual correctly, you flip the stalk up one position ( and this turns on the intermittent wipe AND the autowash. What do you do to choose between the two functions? (Don't think I would like the little wash button at the end of the stalk however. I would probably end up accidently washing the back window when I didn't want to).
