  1. There is a thread dedicated to headliner rattle. Good luck.
  2. Exactly. This is exactly why I wouldn't trust a quick lube place. My dealer is the only person besides me who can change my oil. And when they do it, I still double check the oil level and take a quick glance underneath for obvious leaking/issues. At least I know if the dealer screws up, they'll fix it FAST.
  3. Yup. And we only get snow 2-3 times a winter here. After 5 years my Mustang's carpets look brand new and it was my daily driver. I had the Ford All Weather mats in my Edge to start....but they don't compare.
  4. 1. I wouldn't trust Jiffy Lube to change my oil. 2. There is no requirement to change the drain plug. If there was, Ford would have stated this in the manual or when they do oil changes at their shop, they'd swap them out. Sorry...you got sold on some b*llsh*t.
  5. I have never used Husky. I have had WeatherTech in my '15 Edge and my '11 Mustang. I love them and won't go without them ever. I keep them in year round. Based on reviews, you can't go wrong with either the Husky or WeatherTech. After this past storm of 36" of snow, the salt, and the slush...the WeatherTech's kept everything off my carpets in the Edge. Took them out the other day, sprayed them down, hit them with a brush and some car soap, and they look brand new.
  6. Send a message to the Ford Cust. Service Rep that browses this forum. They will help you open a case: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/user/29146-fordservice/
  7. Would like to see how you hardwired the KDLinks X1s.
  8. Not bad. Comes to $8.04 with shipping (For my zip code). Showing about $11.20 (Prime) at Amazon.
  9. Have you checked what was recommended in this thread?
  10. It is loud enough that it is noticeable. I may have tracked it to that plastic cover behind the rear view mirror. I'll keep testing.
  11. I get that. But he said someone with a Sport was able to have this installed. Even though the Sport already comes with it. But I think I know who he is talking about (someone who got a Sport but for some reason didn't get the correct light bar). Hopefully the part #s come out so you guys can do an easy swap.
  12. ...toward the front window. Around the center/front speaker area. Anyone notice this? UPDATE: Turns out to be the plastic piece behind the rear view mirror. The sound seems like it comes from the dashboard storage compartment, but if you grab that plastic piece behind the rear view mirror, the sound goes away.
  13. The Sport's come with the LED lights that are functional in the rear.
  14. Yes I believe that is the default setting. You can change that to 5 or 15 minutes also. If you want it to run for 20 minutes do this: 1. Remote start 2. After green light shows it has started... 3. Do the same sequence again. This will now add 10 more minutes to the warm up time.
  15. On another note, what are people storing in these storage things under the spare tire cover? I keep a few tie downs, some detailing spray, and a clean microfiber cloth.
  16. I'm not a big fan of how they secure it. I know we won't be taking this on/off very often....if at all.....but it is kind of a cheap solution to clip them down
  17. You can see in the pic below. I think by design the green/orange plastic fittings should stay inside the foam piece. The orange stayed fine. So I had to put the green pieces back in the foam first to clip them back down.
  18. When the issue pops up again, get our your phone and record video.
  19. Correct. When I pulled them out one time, they had to be popped off. Then popped back in.
  20. Those foam bins snap in to place. So make sure they are snapped down all the way.
  21. At this point I'd say yes....I would. We'll see how the remainder of my lease plays out and how the Edge holds up. I bought a new '11 Mustang GT in 2010 and still have it. I have been happy with it. It has been better than any other car I've owned in the past. But when it comes to a new vehicle, I have to weigh all options. And at the end of the day, it is the best bang for the buck. I really like Lexus but they've always been a little too expensive for my taste. Maybe next time. So at this point Ford is still high on my list of preferred brands.
  22. Yes it is slow fill. I noticed the same when I did my oil change. I am using Mobil 1. Here is my writeup w/pictures of changing my Sport's oil http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/18964-edu-changing-oil-in-27l-sport/?do=findComment&comment=139154
  23. I will have to see what mine does. Are you talking about starting the car while in it? Or starting the car via remote. Because via remote I'm pretty sure it shoots out the floor, side, and windshield. But when I start the car, it switches back to AUTO and the heat will just come out of the floor vents. If it fogs from there, I'll turn on the defroster.
  24. My hawks dust a lot more than my Ford OEM pads but that is not a big deal since I wash my car all the darn time
