My 2017 has very old maps, and when I check https://ford.navigation.com/product-list/Catalog/Catalog_Ford_Edge_2017/en_US/FordNA/USD I get the below message, so wonder how they could be advertising the 2019 maps. Thank you for your interest in a navigation update for your SYNC 3 system. This Product Is Currently Unavailable.

The fact that those pics aren't of a Ford Edge Sport, I'd do an inspection before attempting any cleaning procedure, which carries risks. I added the JLT at around 25K mi, and not going to bother with any inspection or cleaning, ......... when the spark plugs are due for changing, and the inlet manifold is removed for that, I'll inspect the intakes.

Just bought Steeda Jacking Rails for my wife's Mustang, and was wondering if anyone has found rails for the Edge. https://www.steeda.com/Steeda-S550-Mustang-Full-Length-Ultra-Lite-and-Low-Profile-Chassis-Jacking-Rails-2015-2019-Coupe_p_15941.html

Not sure if that's a typo regarding the use of impacts. Service manager has order a new set of lugs. I had to buy a new set of lugs for my wife's 2015 Mustang as we're the second owners and its well past warranty at 50K mi.

Transmission Flush, or simple drain and fill?1004ron replied to slides's topic in All Wheel Drive (AWD) I take all oils to AutoZone. I plan on doing the dump and fill method at around 60K mi. On the Sport 2.7L Its damn awkward to get to the fill/level cap - most likely have to run it with the air intake hoses removed.

Up until now the only place that has removed my wheels, is my Ford dealership doing tire rotations during "The Works" oil change services. Today when I rotated wheels at home I found signs that the two-piece lug nuts were damaged by the use of an impact wrench, and the 21mm 6-point socket would not go on three of the lug nuts. In addition almost every lug nut recess on my wheels has been chipped badly, obviously also due to the use of a high speed air impact tool. I've heard of Ford recalling some of these two-piece lug nuts, and the warning not to use impact wrenches, ........... so WTF does my Ford Dealership do it? If I'd have needed to use my emergency spare wheel somewhere on the open road, and it was one of the three wheels with bad lug nuts, I'd be stranded because the emergency lug wrench cannot be used on these.

Old thread, but posting in case it helps others that search for the same question. Use a deep 21mm socket and don't use an air wrench of any kind of impact wrench as it will destroy the two-part lug nuts. https://www.amazon.com/Titan-Tools-21093-Non-Marring-Socket/dp/B008XMDSJC

Heated Seats (Remote start)1004ron replied to Burtman's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start My seats cool or heat when remote started, dependant on the ambient, it's very convenient. My steering will also heat when ambient is low, and remote started.

Do a search here for PTU and you should find loads of useful info.

New OEM decal installed. The one from https://autodatalabels.com/ is crap. The Ford one far better, superior adhesive and dimensionally correct for just $3.50 - now please that they wouldn't sell to me, and surprised that a Ford Collision centre would buy third party crap. The larger one is OEM
-
No, the Ford collision center kept it - maybe they gave it to the worker that butchered it. They installed a new LED signature light, which doesn't even required the removal of this cover, but that's just another indication that the worker was unqualified/untrained.
-
Tried it , but they didn't bite - anyway, its cheaper from Ford. Hello, Thank you for contacting Auto Data Labels. We only sell to Collision Repair Centers fixing a customers vehicle that has been in an accident being repaired through insurance. The information you have provided does not show that you are a Collision Repair Center. However, if you are a collision repair center please provide your shop information along with the first page of the Insurance Company estimate (not your shop estimate) and either email back to Labels@AutoDataLabels.com or fax it to 631-586-0128. Used their online chat and now have the part number and its ordered. https://parts.ford.com/en.html part # FA1Z-1503050-A for the decal. It will show on the diagram as 19A698C https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/decal-7793775-1

Thanks, I'll look at them if all hope fades of getting an original Ford product. Edit: I just called (631) 667-2382 and was told that they only sell to body shops etc. which is odd because it looks like they take orders online.
-
Thanks, that's the number on the right bottom of the sticker, which doesn't produce any results in a search.
-
Yes, the plastic cover and plastic rivets are all genuine parts, but they come without the decal.
-
The cover was replaced, but the problem is it comes without the label, and I can't find a source for the OEM label. Trying to keep it looking original.
-
The plastic cover above the radiator was replaced and a third party decal applied, which is peeling off. Looking for help finding a genuine OEM replacement decal but can't find the part number - would really appreciate help finding this. Its the one on the left with the AC gas and oil details.

Introduced with the 2015 Ford F-150 is a twin-turbo 2.7 L V6 EcoBoost engine. Correct, around 3 to 4 years, but still long enough to know if there's any major systemic issues. https://www.wardsauto.com/engines/2018-winner-ford-f-150-27l-ecoboost-twin-turbo-v-6 https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2016/04/best-ford-f-150-engine-smallest-one-can-buy/

Different Oil Filter/Same Manufacturer?1004ron replied to chefduane's topic in All Wheel Drive (AWD) Good idea, since its always the reputable products that are counterfeited. Counterfeit products have been found on Amazon, but I doubt you'd see that in Walmart.

There's been a few reports here of the plastic pan seal leaking, but haven't seen any new reports lately. No reports of problems with the plastic drain plug, nor the plastic camshaft covers.
