  1. Another look at it, and I agree, the photo is not correct. @jmr061 edit of the photo shows how it should be to match the owners manual.
  2. The pic from the manual and the photo match. Rockauto also lists that Continental belt number. Only thing I can think of is that you're not fully retracting the tensioner.
  3. Got a new OBDlink MX+ and it confirms that there is an evap code. My dealership service manager says that when I bring it in for the brake hose recall, they'll check and confirm the code and replace the evap valve.
  4. One of our worker lost his fingers - drink and powerful mortar took his fingers off.
  5. Recently I used my iPhone and Google maps in a rental car on a long distance trip and it worked great, but don't want to bother with the cable for my daily commute. I understand later vehicle models can do this using BT, and that would resolve the inconvenience.
  6. My commute is mostly on the I71, and it would have me take an alternate exit etc., so no rapid response required like you'd need in city traffic.
  7. I seldom use it, but it has worked when needed. I haven't done any long trips with me Sport, but whenever I hear that there's traffic issues on my route home from work, I turn on the GPS and it uses the Sirius traffic to re-route me. My Sport came with 6 months free XM radio and 5 years free traffic.
  8. My 5 year complementary SiriusXM Traffic expires in about 8 months and I don't plan on paying a monthly or annual fee for traffic, so is there an alternate free option, other than using Apple Carplay and Waze etc.?
  9. I have one of those and confirm that it does work, just have to switch when called to do so by the Forscan app.
  10. Not all, but many of the real cheap OBDII devices don't work well with Forscan.
  11. I expect that you can enable/disable the double honk the same way its done with the NA models, OBDII interface and Forescan.
  12. @onyxbfly I have the OBDLink MX+ which I bought for $95 and it is by far the best on the market - no need to switch between can-bus' when using Forscan. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JFRFJG6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  13. Instead of paying the used price of $59 for a dongle that has only one function, I'd use that to buy a ODDLink MX and watch the many tutorials on how to use Forescan. https://www.4dtech.com/hornhonk/
  14. I'm only about 4 hours ride from the Tail of the Dragon and plan on taking my BMW motorcycle there this season. https://tailofthedragon.com/
  15. Welcome. Go ahead and post those questions in the model specific section.
  16. I've got a can of the below which I think will be more durable than plasti-dip. Rust-Oleum Universal Satin Black Spray Paint and Primer In One
  17. I've been planning to repaint the black part of my Sports tips using satin black, but now after seeing yours I'm going to paint the entire thing black.
  18. Haven't heard of that method - where did you find that, and could you post a link? I use Forscan to reset the BMS when installing a new battery.
  19. As @onyxbfly said, you'll need a whole more for that upgrade - I'm currently doing this on my wife's 2015 Mustang. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/sync-3-swap-its-all-in-here.82973/
  20. Has anyone had assistance from Ford when this failure occurred outside the warranty mileage and period?
  21. There seems to be some conflicting info out there - what's your source of that spec? https://www.sparkyexpress.ca/blogs/auto-blog/fluid-types-and-capacities-2019-ford-truck-f-150-2wd-v6-2-7l-turbo
  22. I have seen a few examples where poor oil maintenance led to sludge which fouled the oil pump intake strainer and the VVT solenoid valves fine mesh strainers, and it those cases I would advise against a higher viscosity oil. I'm not suggesting that you'll have any issues with the increased viscosity, just adding food for thought.
