    LMS Tune

I had installed the LMS 93 octane, V3 tune a bit ago. As can happen, I started to wonder if it was really making a difference. A couple of weeks ago, I re-installed the stock tune for a couple of weeks. I had two appointments a couple of weeks apart to get the TSB done on the trans and than a week later the adaptive headlight software done. I re-installed the 93 tune yesterday and took a drive today, it does make a difference.
  2. I agree with it not sounding like the Stelvio QV.
  3. I installed it on my ST sometime ago and happy with it so far. I believe LMS is taking small steps to each version they put out as this is a new trans. I have version 3 and called them a couple of days ago and this is the latest version.
  4. Welcome to the forum. I have not owned a Sport, but have the ST. I am good with the ST and expect over time more add ons will become available. It really comes down to what you would like to have and which model offers the best choice for you. Good luck in your decision.

    Jealous!

Congrats on your new vehicle. Hang around on the forum, many similar items.
  6. The valves came from the manufacture set to fully open at 7 psi boost. You can hear them starting to open around 5-6 psi boost and fully open at 7. I had the bypass valves put in behind the rear axle and the piping routed from the valves around the muffler and spliced back into the exhaust pipes.
  7. ^^^^ I put in an “X” pipe in place of the resonator, I like the results. I than put in two muffler bypass valves that kick in about 7 lbs of boost, like that as well.
  8. It has been a long time since I owned a Ford.

    Mustang SUV

I have seen worse designs but it does look a little odd with the front and rear looking totally mustang.
  10. Just curious, why drive for 100 miles before alignment? I know in years past people would say the vehicle would settle in, but does it actually?
  11. When I contacted my dealer, the service advisor told me this fix applied from first builds to March 19 builds. I would look for another dealer.
  12. I just checked and did not find that option anywhere on my settings. Maybe I just missed it somewhere or maybe it is something the tech has to ensure that it is downloaded to a vehicle.
  13. I am posting this for those, like me, that have a breaker bar with socket in my ST just in case I have to change a tire. The reason for the breaker bar, the TQ spec is 162 ft lbs. The owners manual states that after changing a tire, the lugs need to be tq to 162 ft lbs within 100 miles. The provided lug wrench is not likely to come close to that tq setting on the road. This is just what I found on my ST. It seems the 13/16 socket is the correct size for my wheel lug nuts(I say this for my 21” wheels as who knows with quality control from one to another ST). When trying each size above and below, this is the size, but it is a Really tight fit. I have to leave the lug nut on a few threads and work the socket to get it off. I have tried different sockets with the same issue. I have the Ford wheel lock set and the 13/16 nor any other socket will properly fit the locking lug the correct way. I found that a 21mm is a perfect fit for the lug locking adapter and works well on the stock lugs. I have both the 13/16 socket and the 21mm to ensure I have it covered. Suggest that you check out to ensure the stock or whatever setup you have will work as expected before needed on the road.
  14. I have an appointment this coming Wednesday to have this looked at.
  15. Had the update done and tested this morning, now it works.
