  1. If this has been posted already, sorry about that.

  3. I will say the accident avoidance feature works very well. I did have a few choice words(to myself) for the driver that pulled out in front of me when on a 4 lane city road. Fortunate for me, the middle lane was clear and I could feel that feature working, very well I might add.
  4. Not much help, but per MagnaFlow’s webpage they are working on a exhaust system for our 19’s. One thing I did, I had an X pipe installed and kept the stock muffler. It did help with a bit more tone without the drone.
  5. I have not had the seat issue, but I feel even the low setting is too hot(yes I live in Florida, but have family in the cold Midwest). I have experienced the trans issue many times and ask my dealer about it all the time. They stated they have had other customers report the same issue to them. I ask every time if they have reported it to Ford, they stated they have, but to be honest, I do not believe them.
  6. Might check this link: https://www.amazon.com/Valleycomfy-Steering-Universal-Genuine-Leather/dp/B0714N86WC/
  7. Ok, to get back to how this thread was started. Some dealers are more in tune to Ford releasing updates to address issue that have been reported. I have asked my dealer and without even looking they say nope, nothing on the trans, but they have heard of other customers reporting the same concerns. Has anyone asked their dealer to follow up with Ford to see? My dealer is not really interested in doing that, their approach is, if needed Ford will do something. Yes i I could go to a different dealer, but really do not want to travel an extra hour to ask that question, which I feel is better asked in person. Thanks
  8. For me, when I was able to, I purchased new and kept for 8 - 10 years. Did the value drop driving off the lot, yep. On the other end, I have always gotten more when selling it or trading it in. When they find out I am the original owner and can show all the maintenance that has been done. Is it a wash, no, but after 8 - 10 years, I am ok with it. Just my opinion
  9. Thought I would follow up and see if anyone has been able to turn the piped in exhaust sound off in their 19. I see a member has given it a try with Forscan, but did not seem to make a difference. I have asked a dealer to send a request to Ford to see if it is possible. They tell me they are working on it, not really sure if that is the case. I called Ford’s customer service and was told a owner is not allowed to request that kind of info from Ford. Thanks
  10. Welcome to the forum, sorry I can’t help on your questions.
  11. I have posted to this thread before, but. I do not know if a PCM flash just starts the learn process over or if Ford updated(?) the PCM that is being used now(is that possible?). I do feel a software update could/would help the shifting of our trans. The reason I feel this way, I have a LMS tune and my trans shifts better than it ever did. It is not as fast as a speeding bullet or a DCT(and will never be), but a lot better. Ford should be able to do the same and very well may be working on it. Just my opinion
  12. In response to your trans concern. It does seem that the trans should shift better and I expected it to. I did not expect it to work like a double clutch setup, but better. From what I understand, this is a Ford designed and built, I believe they very well may come out with updates for the trans over time. With all of that being stated, I have the LMS tune, which in my opinion, has improved the shifting response to the point I am good with it. It now shifts as I would expect a mid size sport type SUV to shift. Ford(I believe will) and LMS(has) taken small steps to improve the trans and keep it useable over the long run. All of my statements are just my opinion and others may have a different take on things. I am happy with my Edge ST, now to find some good electronic muffler bypass valves.
  13. Anyone have any experience with electronic muffler bypass valves? I am considering something along that line, but have heard they do not last very long. Any suggestions on brand that you have had good luck with would be appreciated. Sage
  14. I stopped by a dealer today and he looked up the part number for the paddle shifters. He stated the parts book shows the part number fits Oct 2016 up. He also stated that it does not mean the paddle on the 19 ST are in fact the same as the parts book shows. He recommended to wait until, maybe, May and check back to see if that part number does in fact include th 19s. He stated it takes Ford a few months to get some parts listed for new model years. He also stated that the parts book does not show a part number for the paddle when pulling up a 19 ST yet.
