I agree, the tuners would need to be careful with the new trans software. Even Ford engineers who designed it are having issues getting it right.

I am pretty happy with my ST, but. I am not happy with the transmission, I still don’t understand why they did not put the 10 speed auto in it like they did the F150s and the Mustang. The steering should be a bit quicker, this is an ST.

From what I have read, Edge & Edge Sport & Edge ST have different springs from each other. Ford has stated that for the ST they beefed up the springs/sway bars from other model Edge. Now others may/will know more, I am just going by what I have read outside of this forum,

All, thanks for the reply is much appreciated.

First, yes I realize this is an Edge forum, but many also have/had a Mustang. I am considering getting a new Mustang, V8 with the 10 speed automatic. I have not even sat in a Mustang for over 30 years. For those who own a late or new Mustang, your opinions would be much appreciated.

I hope they will, but. I called a few days ago and asked if they might have a version 4 out in the next couple of months. The person I talked with basically stated that the Edge was not a priority and he did not think they would be doing anything more. If that is really the case, I feel for those that purchased version 3, at least I got versions 2 and 3 from them. That would make LMS tunes for our ST pretty expensive, to me anyway.

I agree with that.

I do not drive that many miles most days, but with it being my only vehicle, it would not work. Also, when visiting family in the midwest and me living in Florida, not a practical vehicle.

At least it does not look like a Yugo. Now, I do not mind the looks, but the range and the cost of a longer range vehicles keeps me from really wanting one.
