  1. Mine usually fogs up a bit with temperature changes. If it is hot out and I wash it the light bar and tails will have some fogginess on the inside of the lenses... likewise during winter the exhaust will cause the tails to fog up if it idles long enough. Warm exhaust + chilly outside temp will result in foggy tails until they warm up.
  2. I got mine here. They really do come close to matching the "signature" LED's in the bumper.
  3. It's a matter of personal preference. I put LED's in my 2015 Sport's DRL spot, they match the signature lights and really make the front look mean. I wish I could have them on in Park, too!
  4. My God that sounds horrid! I've had 2 2.7 V6's and neither has done that noise at all. Run back to the dealer STAT
  5. The cooled seats are supposed to cool the back as well as the butt. If yours isn't take it in for the TSB.
  6. My first 15 Sport was bought back by Ford. The replacement, also a 15 sport, didn't have the homelink. I asked if they could just take the homelink out of the first sport and put it in the new sport. They did but I wonder why there are so many without homelink. My first sport also was missing the middle light bar - it had a non-lit SE/SEL taillight in the middle but had the correct outside taillights. Weird.
  7. I sometimes think I'm the only one who genuinely loves the foot-activated tailgate. I never use my remote unless I already have it in my hand.
  8. My cousin's Cruze (I know, I know not at all a Ford Edge) does the same thing in regards to being slow to update the outside air temperature. The solution was in finding the logic behind when it updates: I wonder if the Edge has similar logic built in.
  9. A friend of mine has a 2015 Fusion and noticed his remote start doesn't turn on the heated mirrors but does turn on the rear defrost. Tested it with my 2015 Sport and mine also doesn't turn on the mirrors. You'd think they would be on with remote start if the rear defrost was on.
  10. Every time a change is made to it Sync must relearn everything on it - it does not have a starting point. If the device has a different set of files on it than it originally recognizes it has to index it. It isn't an issue with Sync, all USB players in vehicles would reindex.
  11. Unfortunately that was the Sport that ended up getting bought back from Ford. They never closed my case for service since it kept acting up and would end up back at their service department within a day or two of them handing it back. They never released any records to me about all the work that was done since Ford bought it back before everything could be closed. I could always ask the service advisor next time I am in there for a copy of what all was done.
  12. I don't know if this will be a huge help, but my first '15 Sport did not come with the middle light bar from the factory. When I questioned service about this and they realized I wasn't pulling a fast one they pulled the tailgate panels off and found that not only did I get an SE/SEL middle light bar (with no light) but there was also no wiring for a light bar. They said if there was wiring for the light bar they would've swapped a working light bar from another Titanium/Sport on the lot into my car to get me on my way. But they said in SE/SEL's there is no wiring for the middle light bar. They had to get the proper wiring harness and a light bar and then install them. They may have been just been blowing smoke, but I figured I would share.
  13. My first 15 Sport came from the factory without the light-up middle light bar. It took quite a while for me to convince the dealership that I wasn't trying to get something for nothing when I took it in to get the proper light bar.
  14. If I remember right mine was built in February of 2015. One other 'defect' from the factory was that the rear light bar on the hatch was one from an SE or SEL ... it did not light up. I've noticed other Sports and Titaniums online that appear to have the incorrect middle light bar, as well. I know that isn't related to the issue but thought I'd throw it out there.
  15. This is almost exactly what was happening with my 2015 Sport. Ford ended up buying it back - but only once the owner of the dealership got involved. The first Sport stumbled while accelerating (I called it "blips" in accelerating) among other things. It left the service manager at my dealership stranded so they knew I wasn't full of it. My replacement Sport has been problem free thus far though.
  16. I will say that I've noticed that my taillights and headlights seem to get a lot of condensation when there are large temperature changes. Weather here in Pittsburgh has been weird - one day it is almost 60 and then the next it is 4. I had a spot of condensation in my light bar for a week or two but it eventually went away with no permanent markings left behind. We shall see how long that lasts.
  17. Woltz and Wind is where I got my 2015 and later got it bought back and got another 2015. Who are you working with?
  18. My first 2015 Sport was like yours - not in regards to the hatch but my middle light bar didn't light up. Looks like yours isn't lit in the video, either.
  19. Mine had some smells like that for the first 300 miles or so. Then it went away - I chalk it up to it being new and stuff breaking in.
  20. I thought there already was a TSB for it... My first 2015 Sport's cooled seats worked alright but didn't cool the back much. My newer 2015 Sport replacement was built at the end of October and the cooled seats in that are amazing compared to my first Sport. I wonder if I have the updated design because they get frigid even on low.
  21. My original 2015 Sport was shutting down while driving and also going into limp-home-mode for no reason. Dealership and Ford were both stumped - Ford ended up taking it back. What did I get in its place? Another 2015 Sport. Exact same options and even the same color. No issues on the new one so far!
  22. I did check the battery terminals and they were tight. I didn't check any grounds though - the fact that it only happens while accelerating faster than normal while in Sport (hasn't happened in Drive yet) kind of made me think it was a software issue or potentially a faulty piece of equipment. I'm supposedly getting it back tomorrow (Friday) so we'll see. I'm still moving forward with the Lemon Law... even if it IS fixed the way the transmission shifts when this happens makes me cringe. It's only a lease but with the amount of time it's been in the shop (nearly 30 days) and all the miles I've had to drive back and forth and also the miles the service folks have driven it to try to get it to act up (200+ miles) makes me feel I'm entitled to something back from ford.
  23. Update: Today marks day #24 that my car has been in the garage. This is the 3rd time it has been at the dealership for this problem. The first time they could not replicate the issue but reflashed the PCM as there was an update. Less than 2 weeks later it stalled while driving. The second time they could not replicate the issue. There was a DTC of C10000. They could not explain why, they contacted Ford. Ford said they could not explain why it acted up and said it was potentially due to loose wiring. A week later and it died while driving again. This time I got it on video. It died while driving, I was able to safely stop at a traffic light and got my phone out to video. I pulled back onto the highway and it acted up again on camera. You can view the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvSsXQOHNmk&ab_channel=matchgame90 This third time they've had my car going on 10 days as of today. The Check Engine light was now on for code P0430. Dealership said was a bad cat. The service manager, with my blessing, had been driving my car and it acted up on him the day after they said it had a bad cat. Service manager seemed upset at how it "Stalls" (it doesn't just stall - it stops reacting to input from the gas pedal but doesn't exactly slow down either...) I've already contacted a lawyer and am in the process of having it declared a lemon. The service advisor says Ford suggested swapping o2 sensors around. The Check Engine light came back on and it is still reading that it has a bad cat. Would a bad cat cause these issues? I just want my car back so I can get the process moving on having it declared a lemon. Ford says I'm not eligible for a rental vehicle but fortunately my dealer has given me one on their dime. They've been great to work with but I want this resolved sooner rather than later.
  24. I was driving my 2015 Ford Edge Sport today. As I was pulling out onto a road with the vehicle shifted in sport I began to accelerate until the engine shut down around 30 miles an hour. At least I think I shut down I could not tell right away. I got the wrench icon on the dash and also a warning on the dash with the wrench on it that allowed me to hit OK to clear it from the screen. I tried hitting ok while I was coasting into a parking lot but everytime I hit ok it kept bringing the wrench back then it started to show a lot of different errors one of which said that the cross traffic was not working and my engine oil pressure was low. When I saw the low engine oil pressure warning I stop the car immediately as I pulled into a parking lot and let it sit for a second or 3. I started it up after a couple of minutes and it shows no warning lights, no check engine light, and everything looked OK and normal. The only difference was that the exterior temperature showed that it was 50 degrees as opposed to the 82 that it showed before. I drove about 120 miles home and did not encounter any other issues after that. When I originally pulled out onto the road I was sitting in a little bit of gravel which caused some wheel spin when I first drove onto the road and it showed the traction light while driving away. When I drove away after the first starting the vehicle back up I tried giving it the larger amount of gas to get it to chirp the tires to see if maybe it was an issue with traction but everything functioned normally. At first I drove to a grocery store and parked. I restarted the edge in engineering mode. It showed no DTC codes. As I said I drove over 100 miles home and it did not act up at all. I have had this car a week and a half and it has been fine the entire time. It was a demo vehicle... The owner of the dealership and his wife were driving a prior to me and put almost 4,000 miles on the car. The dealer had mentioned that the owner and his wife are very very meticulous about their vehicles and have been known to return vehicles for the slightest of issue whenever I first looked at the vehicle on the lot. So I'm thinking this is the first time this has happened. I have an appointment this Thursday at the dealership service department because it needs a check for the water leak and also they put a base model rear light bar when I should have an LED light bar on the hatch. Since there are no DTC codes and engineering mode showed no issues I'm afraid it would be a waste of time to mention to them what happened as there is no proof and the vehicle is driving normally now. I cannot stress enough how normal this vehicle drives. I have had a lemon. I had a Chrysler 300 C that was a piece of trash this age does not feel at all like it is a lemon like people on Facebook that it was when I asked in a group about edges if anyone experienced what I experienced. Is it worth mentioning to the dealer service department? Or should I just move on and forget that it happened because I truly think it was just a hiccup in the computer. Thanks all!
