  1. You have drip marks as noted in @omar302 post. This is covered and I have access to the document you reference that the dealer would have looked at. If your pic is representative of what it looked like at the dealer, they clearly don't comprehend what is covered and not covered.
  2. Sounds like they forgot to do the programming portion that is required when it is replaced.
  3. Check with diesel truck shops, large independent shops or if you come to Wisconsin you can always hit me up. Most places do have a 1 hour min labor rate charge.
  4. Pic is taking it off....putting it on is reverse. You will need to take off the trim pieces and should disconnect the electrical connectors. Then put it all back on after the mirror is back in place.
  5. I'm so sorry. I was only responding about the TED being removed in the new design. It's clear Ford has abandoned cooled seating.
  6. The heated/ventilated seat system consists of the following components: Seat cushion heater mat (serviced by installing a new cushion foam) Seat backrest heater mat (serviced by installing a new backrest foam) Blower motor, located within each front seat cushion and backrest FCIM (includes climate controlled seat buttons) SCME, integral to the DSM Cushion and backrest vent bags (part of the cushion and backrest foam) Air duct (bellow) Cushion and backrest foam Cushion and backrest trim covers
  7. All 19K02 relates to is extended warranty on the airbag. No need to contact dealer, make an appt, etc. MILEAGE AND TIME LIMITS If diagnostics have concluded that the airbag inflator is defective based on the previously outlined guidelines, inflator replacement is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles from the warranty start date of the vehicle, whichever occurs first. At a minimum, coverage is also extended through September 5, 2020, regardless of mileage.
  8. The GPS module is separate from the APIM so not sure why you are referencing that. The vehicle in question is a 2013 which would have MFT/SYNC2.
  9. The TSB (both old and new) also include new weather-seals to address the issue as well. Keep this in mind too.
  10. No that is not them. The mini mud flaps attach on the bottom of the rocker panel. Edit...looks like they go behind the front wheels so if that is the case, if you put on front mud flaps these would be useless by my guess. Further edit --- it appears the newer TSB uses grip tape to help attach the new weatherseals and presumably keep them from being torn away from the vehicle.
  11. The service manual section on this for 18 is the exact same as 16. I can't imagine they are different. They are pricey for a piece of plastic though.
  12. Not sure if this will help but you may wish to check on the following Technical Service Bulletin issued back in November. TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Dirt/Dust And/Or Ice Accumulation At The Bottom Inside Of Doors 18-2339 09 November 2018 Summary This article supersedes TSB 17-0056 to update the Service Procedure, Parts List, and vehicle model years affected. Issue: Some 2015-2018 Edge vehicles may exhibit dirt, dust and/or ice accumulation at the bottom of the inside of the front and/or rear door openings. This may be due to extended driving on non-paved or slushy roads.
  13. If you ask me they are nuts on the labor hours. Hands on time shouldn't be more than an hour. The module sits behind the instrument cluster.
  14. I just looked and didn't see any tsb or ssm updates. In fact they don't even list ssm 46025 any more. It could be they updated the service manual procedures though. Quick looked at them....if it closes within 12 seconds its okay. Any longer and you have to clean the tracks and retest. If it still fails then they start going through a part replacement procedure.
  15. They consider it a truck. Copying their link doesn't work as its just the basic search link even with the results.
  16. Sure does. I looked it up when posting.
  17. Well considering adding OEM sync is anything but plug and play, it isn't surprising you didn't get an answer. Its not even supported by Ford. The dash/audio harnesses would be completely different and that's just the beginning. It would be much easier to install a Rostra kit which would be mainly plug and play by the looks of it. Google Rostra BT kit.
  18. Let me clarify...all 3 were built for sale in Canada. Clicking the FSA announcement for them brings up "can't find service bulletin." It would be nice to know the details of this customer satisfaction program.
  19. Actually I did a little more digging and pulled those vins in OASIS. All 3 that I found were Canadian vehicles so not sure if its a Canadian FSA or not. Either way, owner notifications for the program were mailed out so affected vehicle owners would have been notified. Sounds like a defect in a specific run of vehicles or something? Not sure. Mine isn't tagged but I am in the USA? More questions than answers
  20. I can't pull up 17B39 on my OASIS access...I did pull up 17B38 which is an issue with the fusions and is dated Dec of 17. Did you access 17B39 on the Ford site somewhere?
