  1. I am pretty sure Ford has shut off Vehicle Health Report (VHR) for new customers of GEN1 and GEN2 SYNC systems. Existing Gen1 and Gen 2 users will lose VHR on August 1st. MyFord Touch is a GEN2 system. Your backup camera is bad. It needs to be replaced. Typical failure for a Ford vehicle of your age. 3.08 is the latest official user installed software update. 3.10 is the latest and officially only available through a dealer or independent shop with OASIS access/IDS. If you read this carefully (https://ford.oemdtc.com/1745/12m02-warranty-extension-covering-accessory-protocol-interface-module-apim-software-and-hardware-2011-2014-ford-lincoln/19) you can download the 3.08 update and get it installed.
  2. It is probably the wrong USB hub. Perhaps the dealer put the old one back in by mistake.
  3. Thanks for providing the info. Finally looks like some places are getting on line with this. Once again a long awaited OVER-DUE (from original release date Ford initially provided) product.
  4. As far as tuner's go some work directly with the OEMs....LIvernois comes to mind. As far as a consumer package goes anyone can buy IDS...license is $850/year and requires the use of the VCM2. This also give you access to FDRS.
  5. All this and the crux that Forscan is an illegal software to begin with, based on reverse engineering IDS. A violation of the IDS copyright and user agreement. Now if you were to use a software program that was developed from the ground up with without reverse engineering IDS...no issues but those software packages are limited and cost $$.
  6. What version of SYNC software is your system running?
  7. They don't give any info on the transmission. With all the comments going back and forth about the suspension I was expecting some feedback.
  8. I pulled some build info: 2019 Edge ST (w/Perf Package) TAAZE F2GC-5310-EN * LH/FRT SPRING TACZE F2GC-5310-EN* RH/FRT SPRING TAEFX F1DC 5560 JA L/R COIL (GOV) TAGFX F1DC 5560 JA R/R COIL (GOV) DWABR SPORT TUNED SUSPENSION DYKAB FRONT STABLIZER BAR DZLAB REAR STABLIZER BAR EGAAZ 3.39 FINAL DRIVE RATIO FBABD BRK DISC 18" FRT/RR VENTED #2 2019 Edge ST TAAZE F2GC-5310-EN * LH/FRT SPRING TACZE F2GC-5310-EN* RH/FRT SPRING TAEGX F6DC 5560 CHA L/R COIL (HOT) TAGGX F6DC 5560 CHA R/R COIL (HOT) DWABR SPORT TUNED SUSPENSION DYKAB FRONT STABLIZER BAR DZLAB REAR STABLIZER BAR EGAAZ 3.39 FINAL DRIVE RATIO FBAAR BRK DISC 18" FRT/REAR VENTED My 2016 Sport (I checked and 2018 is the same) TAAZJ F2GC-5310-JN * LH/FRT SPRING TACZJ F2GC-5310-JN* RH/FRT SPRING TAEVF F2GC-5560-FN* L/H RR/SPRING TAGVF F2GC-5560-FN* RH/RR/SPRING DWABR SPORT TUNED SUSPENSION DYKAB FRONT STABLIZER BAR DZLAB REAR STABLIZER BAR EGADD 3.16 FINAL DRIVE RATIO FBAA3 BRK DISC 18 FRT VNT/17 SOL RR
  9. Sounds like something is very wrong with the programming of the vehicle (assuming the correct size wheels are on it). I would get it to the dealer. How far off it is at lower speeds?
  10. Ah...the ST is tempting. I wonder what the date is for the late availability of the special braking package...hate it when they do that with stuff.
  11. What version of MFT software is your system running? There is a TSB that possibly applies to your vehicle which the dealer should have been able to look up in a matter of minutes: SERVICE PROCEDURE Determine the level of software in the accessory protocol interface module (APIM) by navigating to the system information screen on the 8 inch radio display. Select: Menu Help System Information If the last five numeric digits (e.g. 4.30.13171.PRODUCT) are 13171, proceed to Step 2. If the last five numeric digits are not 13171, this article does not apply. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-02 for normal diagnosis. The above is from the TSB. If it is 13171 then the software is the cause of the issue and needs to be updated.
  12. Yes it needs to be programmed for the vehicle.
  13. If the apim has already been replaced then the extended warranty on it would no longer exist. Have to check service or sync records for that.
  14. The notice is under 12M02, it applies to all 11-14 Models with MFT/MLT and 14 is the cutoff. It is 5 years from the in-service date of the vehicle. You may be close to the end of your 5 years depending on the in-service date.
  15. Hard to say...on my 2nd pan replacement they let it cure. I sat at the dealer for 7 hours, not once did they come back and tell me why it was taking so long or even come back to speak to me even though they knew I was waiting. Never said it was going to take that long either. The 1st time they replaced it, it took a little over 2-3 hours. No leaks so far and its been a couple months (I think, lost track of time). Relying on RTV sealant...a lot of chance of human error in that process.
  16. Ford just put this out regarding the leaking oil pans... http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/24258-ford-provides-new-info-on-27l-leaking-oil-pans-to-dealers/?do=findComment&comment=184815
  17. Apr 25 2018 6410 - 2014-2019 Various Vehicles - Equipped with a 2.7L and 3.0L GTDI Engine - Oil Pan Leak. Some Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with a 2.7L or 3.0L EcoBoost engines may exhibit an oil leak from the engine oil pan RTV seal. Replace the oil pan by performing the published Workshop Manual (WSM) service procedures. After removing the oil pan, it is suggested to allow the crankcase to drain overnight to minimize the chance of residual oil contaminating the crankcase sealing rail. Remove all traces of old RTV, clean the engine sealing surface with only Motorcraft® Metal Brake Parts Cleaner then wipe with Motorcraft® Metal Surface Prep Wipes, and allow to air dry as directed in WSM, Section 303-00, RTV Sealing Surface Cleaning and Preparation. If possible, after the new oil pan is installed, allow the new RTV sealant to cure for 4 hours before refilling the engine with oil. Ford is investigating this concern. Monitor OASIS for future updates.
  18. I can't get it to work on either nav or non nav that I have. Read plenty of people have it working on both nav and non nav though.
  19. Rumor is WAZE released an update for IOS users today and that it now works stand-a-lone with Sync3 V3.0 via applink. I haven't personally tried it yet.
  20. You should be placing the antenna in the same location as the existing GPSM. Also check to see if there is an antenna DTC.
  21. I am just curious...did it come in OEM packing. If not you can test to see if its a clone...make sure the write tab(switch) is in the write position (up). Then simply open a notepad file and type something and save it to the card or take some other small file and try to save it to the card. If it saves, its a clone. Just delete it before sending it back.
  22. You are running version 3.6.2 That should work fine with that card...its probably a bad clone card.
  23. Could you take the discussion of MFT and gridlines to its own thread please. This is about SYNC3 and the V3.0 software being released. I really hate getting notifications that aren't related to it. Plus you might get better input to help solve your issue. Thanks
  24. Straight from Ford OASIS notices.
