  1. It has been done. I don't think that I have seen it mentioned on this forum. Peeps have done it on the fusion forum. The Fusion and Edge have a lot in common including the engine mounts. If you are interested in casual reading on filling the stock mount with poly, point your browser in this direction.... http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=4&highlight=rear+motor+mount More than a few people have done it and done it with varying degrees of success, comfort, and usability etc. everyone that has done it says that it is beneficial. The ironic thing is that people stopped experimenting with it once CP-e and other manufacturers started mass producing them. Enjoy.
  2. We're one big happy family, we're protective of each others cars! Exploration in the name of science!.....especially on the insurance co's dime!
  3. Welcome to the forum. Any pics you care to share? We never tire of looking at members pics!
  4. I stand corrected! Please disregard my previous posts. There is no excuse for not reading back through the thread to get up to speed. Apologies if I came across as belligerent and/ or argumentative. I am interested in joining the catless downpipes group buy. I would like mine fitted for 2.5 exhaust. Apart from the two of us how many else are interested in the group buy? Can you post a list of potential buyers. Maybe seeing a list of people who are serious may motivate them.
  5. Congrats! Welcome to the forum! the part you are looking for is FT4Z-6A949-B You're also going to need the two parts that are associated with it. https://parts.levittownfordparts.com/auto-parts/2018/ford/edge/titanium-trim/3-5l-v6-gas-engine/engine-cat/engine-appearance-cover-scat HTH
  6. I spoke with Zury on Monday. The price I was quoted is the same as the price snmjim posted. There is no group buy necessary to get that price. Call and they will quote you the same and tell you how much S/H. I did not ask for S/H as they are relatively close. Usually the purpose of a group buy is to fulfill the minimum order necessary for production, and/ or to get a group price. (The more you buy the lower the price.) Which is why I asked you what the numbers were looking like on a group buy.
  7. Will hear it in person in August. It is tentatively on my Christmas list. Pretty sure the idea will not gain any traction before hand in my house. If I love it, I'll see if I can turn the screws a bit to expedite it. What are the numbers looking like for a group purchase? The price that SinJimm quoted from Zury is the everyday one off price.
  8. Its very ironic that you mentioned this. My brother has a 2015 Sport and has your key on the right. He purchased two of the keys you have on the left. The fob you purchased is same fob I have for my 2017 Sport. He gave me a fob for my birthday! Neither one of us can program our fobs. We tried various instructions found on the nets and the one in the manual. We believe we did everything correctly. Just like you there is some confusion as to the last step. We are going to try your suggestion. I'll send your instructions to my brother. He's not on the forum. If I get some time today I will try them as well. Thanks for the info!
  9. Hey Nick we're trying to organize a second round for the CNC Grill. Are you still interested?
  10. Welcome to the forum! Your edge is truly unique. You, Sinjimm, and Special K have given me a new appreciation for the Orange Edge!
  11. I've owned more than a few black cars in my lifetime. If i had a nickel for every time I have heard a variation of "you know a black car is only clean for a few minutes after you wash it" Seriously though there are a few professional detailers and a few hobbyist detailers on this forum. Hopefully some of them may see your post and offer suggestions. Are you getting water spots when drying your car? Or is your issue water spots when it rains etc? One thing that will be helpful is to describe your wash/ dry procedure. If the water spots are after washing our car then perhaps you are not drying fast enough or not using a quick detail spray to assist in wiping/ drying. Or if you are concerned with water spots after it rains it may be indicative of what type of care you are putting into your wax and sealant. Just tossing some ideas out there that may help you pinpoint where the issue may be.
  12. Congrats and welcome to the forum. You got my favorite color combo. Not sure what interior mods need to be done. One of the unspoken yet most desirable mods to make for the 2015-2018 sport is the black headliner and trim. Trust me you are winning! As WWWPerf said most of the mods from the Sport will carry over to the ST. I would like to think that the lack of aftermarket parts for the ST is due to the fact that it is a new platform. I hope new mods and upgrades are made for the ST because they would breathe life into the Sport. Aftermarket developers will see the validity in striving to make parts for both platforms.
  13. I don't have a dog in this fight. I'm not here to bash the ST. I would like to say that I have 3 friends go and test drive the ST. One is a former Sport owner that their lease expired. None of them liked it. They all complained about shifting issues. 2 of them asked if the TSB was applied. The dealerships told them that if there was a TSB that addressed the shifting issues that they would be applied after purchase. Needless to say there were 3 less ST sold that day. One ended up getting a X3. One said they would try a different dealership. I feel bad because I recommended that one of them go to my preferred dealership. I asked my service advisor about it and he basically said that while the dealerships are reimbursed by Ford If a customer comes in with a concern that they can replicate or readily see etc. They are not reimbursed on TSB unless it was a recall for a any vehicles that are not customer owned. Personally If I was Ford I would have made it mandatory that the dealerships perform any and all TSB that would potentially effect sales. Especially if the TSB are readily available. I don't know how long it takes to perform the TSB nor whats involved etc. But if Ford is serious about ST sales they should addressed as many issues and or concerns before releasing it.
  14. Congrats! Welcome to the forum!
  15. Welcome to the forum!
  16. The new color line seems exciting! I would love to see how the new Star metallic looks like compared to the triple platinum white.
  17. So far we have 3 people committed to buying the CNC Grill. If we can get 3 more than we can tip toe into the 6 or more price range. I will use this post as a place to keep everything organized. Member that are committed so far: BADK_Racing Onyxbfly x 2 Hopefully we can get some traction!
  18. One can buy the ESP after the 3yr 36K warranty expires. One would need to have it inspected by a dealership and then submit the form stating that the vehicle is in good health and free of any pre-existing issues that one would claim under warranty. The warranty will cost more than if it was purchased during the 3 yr/ 36k warranty period.
  19. Is anyone interested in trying to submit a group order? Long story short. I need the grill out of necessity. I would like to take the opportunity to upgrade. If not, I'll order a stock one!
  20. You have a great eye, you might have missed your calling! Lincoln should pay you for those photos! Welcome to the forum.
  21. Great catch! There aren't to many cars out there with vertical exhaust tips, but the IS-F have aways looked good. Once the bezels are removed, I think that style would look hot on the ST!
  22. Guess we spoke it into existence. I tried the posted solution and it doesn't seem to work. This is definitely a SYNC issue as its happening across various fords. It doesn't matter if its a iPhone or Android.
