  1. Congrats, may she provide you with many years of comfort, speed, and service to come!
  2. I would never say its not good. Everyone's situation dictates their level of necessity. I think the ESP plan is a better investment especially when the vehicle is new.
  3. Something is definitely drawing and will eventually kill the battery. If you have a OBD reader you can check to see if you have any DTCs that are not portrayed as a check engine light. Another option would be go to go to autozone/ advanced auto or someplace similar and have them run a check on your charging system. At least at that rate you have some sort of idea of what your next steps should be. You didn't mention it but is your alternator new or rebuilt? Is it Ford or aftermarket? Some aftermarket parts fail to perform as expected compared to official ford parts. Not stating this is your problem but its something to consider. Double check your terminals etc, alarm connections etc just tossing ideas out there. I had what I thought was a good terminal kill a battery on a expedition once. If your battery is 1.5 years old it should still be under warranty. Good Luck!

    Edge ST MPG

You're off to a great start! Good foundation for solid ownership for many moons to come.
  5. I would suggest getting a Extended Service Plan (ESP) over an Extended Maintenance Plan. Everything that the maintenance plans cover are usually considered wear and tear items. You are paying a considerable amount of money up front for stuff that you can get done at your local wrench for cheaper. (Brakes, oil changes etc) If you are still within the warranty period you do not have to pay for a pre-inspection. If you are out of warranty then you have to add an additional $100-$150 to the ESP price.
  6. Looks like a nice clean install. Money well spent!
  7. Feels almost like yesterday when the you mentioned ordering your edge! Hope she's everything you wanted!

    Earthquake

Glad to hear that all is well.
  9. Welcome to the forum. Since the part numbers are damn near identical they very well maybe the same part. Especially since the 2011-2014 had a front fascia upgrade. At first glance the tail lights seem to be different. I do not know what other differences may or may not be. Your question maybe due to limited availability or having to order parts etc, or simply the desire to save money. Regardless of the circumstances/ situation, but personally speaking I like to spend money once. I think you would be best served ordering a liftgate from a 2011- 2014 edge.
  10. I decided to call and ask if they would make a set for the edge and the CSR said that unfortunately ever since the edge was released there really hasn't been a demand for after market parts. He said that they would need a minimum of 30 pre orders to make a set of jack rails for the edge.
  11. Thanks for sharing! That's a great deal. I wish they were all season tires.
  12. Congrats and welcome to the forum.
  13. Save yourself the heart ache and frustration of going to the stealership first. Check out advanced auto or pep boys they can test your battery/ alternator. If a trip to the stealership is in order they will test your battery 8 ways to Sunday. I've had two batteries replaced under warranty. The first dealer I chose it was a nightmare. They held me hostage all day. Gave it a deep charge and sent me on my way. I was back the very next day. They kept the car over night and said it would not start in the morning so they replaced the battery. Second trip to a new stealership. They tested the battery and deemed it at fault and replaced it. For this and other visits I have a new preferred stealership. I hope your experience mirrors my second experience.
  14. Apologies in advance if I presented misinformation. There is no verification of it outperforming a sport, at least none that I have seen myself. If I come across the post I'll link it in this forum.
  15. People have expressed interest and it looks like the pieces of the puzzle are coming together! TXFRDOwner has offered to do a group buy for the Chinese/ Euro Edge Lens/ mask which is needed to install the digital dash. ($110.21) + shipping (varies per zip) Those that are interested please post here and PM TXFRDOwner for payment details.
  16. It has been said that a tuned 2.0 will perform better than a non tuned edge sport.
  17. Another member recently posted about the same issue. Do a search it should yield quick results.
  18. Looking good over there! Love the transformers reference!
  19. The battery in my 2017 Sport was replaced under warranty.
  20. There is at least one member on the FEWW Facebook page with an ST lowered on the same HR springs that are used on the Edge Sport.
