I do not have the weather tech visors. But I have been thinking about ordering the low profile vent visors from AVS. If anyone is interested the part number is 894035. That seems odd. From my understanding the systems are independent and do not interact nor have an impact on each other. I would suggest going to a different dealership, or calling Ford Customer Service and get clarification.

Apple Carplay can be had in a 2016 if you change the USB in the center console. Apple Carplay becomes standard with 2017 and up. If you do decide on a 2015 you can upgrade your infotainment unit to Sync 3 for about 1k, or less if you source the parts yourself.

There is that. The community that the truck is marketed towards is primed for aftermarket support. I don't think Ford truly envisioned the Edge as a performance vehicle. They made some headway when they put the ecoboost engine in it. Even more when they developed the ST. It is fortunate that we have members such as yourself to raise the flag and take initiative. Without members sourcing and, or developing after market performance parts for the us we may not have what we have now.

It speaks volumes when FRPP will not support the Edge ST. I think Ford is leaving a lot of money on the table. I'm pretty sure that the FMIC that Sinjinn and Special K fabbed should fit the ST. There are other FMIC available as well. I don't see why any of the edge sport performance parts will not carry over to the ST. Hopefully the new generation of edge owners will continue to carry the torch for the ST.

How much did the powder coating set you back? Once you tint the front windows it will look like a completely different vehicle!

Ask your dealer to perform a mileage assessment. (Apologies in advance if that is not the correct terminology.) My 2013 SEL had terrible city mileage. I never reached advertised mixed use or city use for that matter. They asked me to get 4 full tanks and manually record mileage in and mileage out and they also asked for half tank milage. After I submitted the receipts with the milage notations they sent it up the chain of command and thy asked me to bring her in for a "programing/ mileage adjustment" I no longer have the paper work but after they did whatever they did my milage was slightly under advertised MPG if not better in some cases. Doesn't hurt to ask!

Certainly don't blame ya. You might want to reconsider your view of returning to the dealership that did the work. God forbid the glass breaks. Insurance may cover the first repair. But if the warped metal causes a structural deficit and has a negative impact on the glass it may break again. Insurance may not cover it a second time. Just something to consider.
