  1. No wonder I had problems. The damn picture is sideways...
  2. I think the rear gate sensor just needs to be moved
  3. Never had SeaFoam unclog a jet. In fact I've never had Sea Foam do anything special. Get inside it and clean it out.
  4. The one I drove did and it was an SE model. What is SW? Always write the words and then abbreviate so the reader knows what you're talking about
  5. Saved my ass once. That's enough. If you live where it snows it's just.... Fun. Cars have taken the fun and skill out of driving. Traction control, abs, electronic brake. A blithering idiot can drive in the snow... and said idiot is still afraid to drive in the snow Now instead of driving and having fun, it's... let's put crap on our car(HIDs, and LEDs) it doesn't need.
  6. Pretty stupid if asked me. You lose convenience because some idiot is too dumb to know it still charges when off.
  7. But you can't vary the pressure and the hook up and let it off at will
  8. But you can't vary the pressure and the hook up
  9. Purple cleaner or Castrol Super Clean. You can thank me later.
  10. And you can't use it in the snow to have fun nor to avoid an accident.
  11. You have to admit this is certainly more interesting than yet another..... HID or floor board lights or accent lighting posts.
  12. Well, gee thanks. How about this there smarty pants. How about the heat held in by the shield once you shut the car down? That's the heat I'm more worried about. The shield will certainly be hot sitting next to the exhaust. While the car is moving air movement will suffice.
  13. After thinking about this, the best idea I can come up with is wrapping the metal 'heat shield' Ford put on it.
  14. OK we've had a new 2015 SEL AWD for a week now. Slowly using the paddle shifters to gradually raise the rpm between shifts to break things in. Changing speeds often. I know about the PTU and will take care of things. The car drives nice and as I've said a few times already it's very quiet. Handles well but certainly not as well as our VWs. Much better than American cars of past though! Liking the convenience features but hope they don't turn into problems as it ages but most likely certainly will. Excellent Michelin tires! Love the back seat! Can't wait for snow but that will be a while. So far it is much nicer than I ever expected the Edge would be.
  15. Heavy SUV? I get close to 50,000 miles on my Excursion tires and it weighs right at 8,000 lbs. Yes....8,000.Our Edge weighs half of that.
  16. I live in the south with brutal sun. Haven't had a dash succumb to the elements since the 70s. Armor All and the like do just fine to protect the dash.
  17. Someone forgot or someone along the way took the Homelink visor that was supposed to come on my new 15. No biggie. Dealer will put one on at first oil change. Other than that, it's perfect.
  18. Found one last week and bought it also. Thanks.
  19. It's funny how all these Sports have 'problems'. Either they're on a different assembly line or they have a different type of owner...
  20. As with any turbo, allow it time to cool before you shut the engine down. End your drive with moderate to easy driving, maybe even a bit of idling. Had 4 VW turbo diesels and a turbo diesel Excursion. Never had a turbo problem and I pretty much always allow them to cool, especially the Excursion when towing. Don't hot rod home and shut it down.
