  1. You should not need to calibrate the screen. I suggest taking it back to the dealer. But, since this is a forum with DIY advise, try the calibration menu in the diagnostic mode. To enter MyFord Touch into diagnostics mode: - Make sure there is no CD in the system - Set MFT to AM/FM - Press and hold the eject button and... - Immediately after press and hold the right arrow on the center wheel while still holding the eject button - Hold both buttons pressed for about 12 seconds - Screen goes black and MFT enters diagnostics mode The system defaults to a speaker tone test which starts immediately. You can cancel it on the screen. You should find a screen calibration entry (don't remember it exactly), after finishing, tap anywhere on the screen to exit. Edit: Found the below screenshot, don't remember were I got it from!
  2. Try switching to tow mode DTE calculation & then back and see if changes it. Also, the low fuel warning will come at 20 km to empty & at zero. When at zero, the gauge turns to red color. You'd still have a few kilometers to go, I think the max I went was 4-5 KM after zero, but never ran empty.
  3. The TSB content was posted in this thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13168-ambient-lighting-problem/ The fix seems to be related to version 3.6.2 only. So i'd guess this means other software versions are not affected.
  4. A DIY was posted in the Explorer forum which have the same turn signal stalk: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=395191
  5. To OP, do you do a lot of remote starts? I do & noticed that the fuel used during remote starts is not calculated in the Trip Computer so the actual fuel used is always going to be more than what is registered in the Trip Computer. Actually, I wish they had a fuel economy gauge that would only calculate the actual mileage without the stops where the engine is only idling. I think it would give a better feel of the "driving" fuel economy. I previously owned a Chevy Lumina (an '05 Australian Holden) that when idling, would show fuel consumption rate in Liters/hour & while driving it switched to Liters/100km. Good idea instead of the useless 99L/100km (or 0 mpg for US) while idling.
  6. Edge Sport brakes are the same as regular Edges. Only in some years, don't remember which, some FWD Edges had smaller front brakes.

  9. There was an update (V3.7.11) released & pulled quickly in early September. So it seems that we might get any time now. Edit: Found out that there is a TSB & your dealer should be able to fix it without the aforementioned update. 10. It is a MyFord Touch issue since the last update. The resets to the default blue (white for Lincolns). Hopefully a near future update would solve the problem.
  11. Don't know how that happened. Apparently, when posting from a mobile, mistakes are bound to happen. Edit: ok, now I understand how it happened, browsing YouTube on the phone's browser keeps the same website link, even when you are switching videos, the url at the top remains the same. The is the video I meant, it's for an Edge but similar to what you found:
  12. Check this video, it is very simple. Also it's the same for the map lights with sunroof switches: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nys7PfssZ8
  13. The compatibility list includes Lincoln models that offer only MyLincoln Touch (MFT), they also stated that it's coming next week, and since we are already waiting for 3.7 (or 3.7.11) MFT/MLT update, it might actually come next week. https://www.automatic.com/ford/
  14. The Edge without the tow package is rated at 2000lbs. So there shouldn't be any problem towing 1000lbs.
  15. Taycon, you should your vehicle to a dealer when the screen is dead, try not to restart your vehicle so the screen remains off. The dealer should one of two ways to fix it, a complete reflash of the software, and if that fails, I think they should replace the APIM. The latest 3.6.2 version of the software does cause, normally, cause black screens. Your car getting them means a defect either in the software (reflash) or hardware (replacement), both covered under the 5 year extended warranty of the APIM.
  16. Well since the 2015 Sport has 21" wheels instead of 22", I think it's a good sign of function before form.
  17. Could you tell us what is included in the Titanium that is not available in the Sport?
  18. @Magnetic Edge Is the Sport model listed as an SEL+added options (like previous models) or is it a Titanium+added options? Which is the higher trim level (other than the Engine of course).
  19. You You can register with the page for USA & the download would still be for your vehicle (export).
  20. Yep, sorry, it is 365 hp, posting from the phone is a recipe for typos!
  21. Actually it is 465 HP, Torques is the limiting factor with 350 lbs-ft. The F150 3.5 also had 365 HP but 420 lbs-ft. The 2015 Expedition has 370 HP & 420 lbs-ft while the Navigator has 380 HP & 460 lbs-ft.
  22. The 2013 CTS had 2 Engine options, a 3.0 & 3.6 V6. So if it was an AWD 3.0L, then it would probably be much worse than an Edge Sport: 3.7 FWD Edge Sport, weight ~ 4200 lbs with 305hp/280lbs-ft (@ 6500/4000 RPM) 3.0 AWD 2013 CTS, weight ~ 4000 lbs with 270hp/223lbs-ft (@ very high 7000/5700 RPM)
  23. The throttle body is not mentioned in the warranty guide under the extended warranty, so its probably not covered (the below is for a Lincoln, hence 6Y/70K): However, the Throttlebody is covered under the Emissions Defect warranty for 4Y/50K, though I don't know if its failure as a part is also considered an Emission Deffect:
  24. Did you have a message in the left cluster screen to shift to Park? Try to put the shift lever in Neutral & try to start.
  25. Being nearly in the same position, the Edge / MKX do have short seatbelts. My old '08 Taurus was the same, seems to be a Ford thing as the Chevy Cruze we had & Nissan Altima we now have, both have considerably longer seatbelts, and I mean really much longer. As for a solution, you might try a seatbelt extender, there are also OEM Ford seatbelt extenders you should be ableto get at your dealer.
