  1. Go for a color matching your exterior color otherwise it would look out of context.
  2. Congrats on the new order, hopefully you get it fast & enjoy it. Could you share the order guide? Couldn't find it yet.
  3. There are 2 TSBs that address an issue of A/C not maintaining correct interior temperature. TSB 13-10-13 & TSB 11-08-07 (one supersedes the other), the solution is to reprogram the HVAC module. Sorry I don't have a copy now. If I remember correctly, it's for the 2011 and maybe 2012 models.
  4. If it's not too much trouble, please do post it, I'm sure it will be helpful for many.
  5. I don't know the technical details, but I do know that even with the A/C on, when the ambient temperature is above ~30 Celsius, the fans will be at a higher speed (very loud) compared to when it is less than 30 Celsius (much qu). So even if the A/C is on, it does not always mean that the fans are at full speed. .
  6. Scott, as per the TSB, it is clearly mentioned that the technician may not be able to reproduce the problem, hence I would blame the dealer for their incompetence in finding the solution when the vehicle was under warranty. Also dealers usually can get approvals for warranty repairs after it expires if the symptoms were present before. It shows again how this dealer is at fault. I would suggest going to the service manager and/or dealer owner and explain what happened.
  7. For the front map lights & glove box I used these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AIJY2ZM/ For the rear dome & cargo lights I used these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NOZ5AY/ For the door mirror puddle lights I used these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009NOZ5BI/ Reverse light: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H8YAX1W I went with the above because of the brand (Philips & Sylvania). Note that you need to make sure you get the 6000K version to get the bright cool white color.
  8. chipworkz, Thanks a lot for the info. I did not know or expected the "Battery Monitoring System (BMS) Reset". How is it rest with the scan tool? Can it be reset without it and without having to wait 8 hours?
  9. First, it's an 8" touch screen, not 5". As for the different readings, it seems to be due to a different rounding when converting from Fahrenheit to Celsius. If you convert the units to English (in the left screen settings) you'll find that both would have the sstreading in Fahrenheit even when they were different in Celsius. The different readings always occur at the same temperature readings. I have previously highlighted this to the Ford IVT member in this forum, but they directed me to the Middle East Ford customer service which useless. Hope you'll be able to highlight it better as it is a simple software issue.
  10. Thanks a lot. So, a fully loaded Sport AWD without 21" wheels and without summer tires MSRP's for $ 49,195/-. Now we need to know what is included in the 401 & Driver's packages, and of course the 2.7 Ecoboost's performance.
  11. Seems like Ford's MyTouch is not the most distracting per AAA: http://m.autoblog.com/2014/10/07/aaa-voice-recognition-distracted-driving-study/
  12. If it attaches to the windshield & you have rain sensing wipers, it might be the sensor for it.
  13. Just for information, the fuel used when remote starting your vehicle is not registered in the trip computer. So if you remote start frequently, actual used fuel will be higher than the trip computer.
  14. You can use voice commands to change air flow to the floor. Sync button > climate > Floor on.
  15. 2011-2012 MFT & MLT have a capacitive button for the hazard lights, just like the other capacitive buttons for the HVAC & media controls. In 2013 they changed to a physical button.
  16. On the 2015 F-150 (probably also the Mustang), you'll need to 're-train the sensors. The procedure is stated in the Owners Manual which can be downloaded from Ford's owner or fleet website. So it seems to be cheaper method, utilizing the existing equipment. It is really annoying that it's not available on current Fords, and super dumb not to include in the 2015 Edge. They should also offer it to existing owners, but that's just a dream.
  17. The 2015 Mustang also has individual tire pressure readouts.
  18. The TPMS in a Lexus shows individual pressure readouts of all 5 tires.
  19. Just checked the Owners Manual and yes, the MKC does have the auto folder feature, unlike the Explorer that manual power folding mirrors.
  20. The Explorer's mirrors do NOT auto fold. You have to press the switch for them to fold or unfold when required, so don't expect to get the auto fold feature in any case.
  21. Like what akirby wrote above, or, if you have MyFord Touch, in the main screen > Settings>Vehicle>Door Keypad Code.
  22. The screen has to turn off & then on for the image to become clear again.
  23. Camera is ok in daytime. It is not that the Camera has been on for a long time, it is the vehicle that has. In all the above samples, the camera was on for less than a minute (mainly to get the photo sample).
  24. An update to this same topic. Had always noticed that at night near my place, the camera display would be grainy, while at my Parents it is clear at night. Then I realized that I park in reverse at my place, meaning the Camera turns on after driving for a certain period, while at my Parents, I would park straight, so when I back up, it would be the 1st thing I do after starting. So after some testing, I found out that the rear Camera gets grainy at night after driving for some time (maybe heat?) but turning off the car (Center display off) for a few minutes (3-5 minutes) then turning the rear camera on (reverse), the display becomes clear!! Pictures speak for themselves! My 2011 MKX: Sample 1, at 9 PM: Same view at 10:43 PM (1:43h later): Sample 2, at 8:49 PM: Same view at 8:51 PM (2 minutes later) A buddy's 2013 Explorer: At 10:29 PM: Same view after less than minute later:
