  1. Uhhhh, so you drive left-handed?
  2. The first thing to check is the codes (as Akirby stated). All of these faults are related to the PCM. If the service AdvanceTrac warning indicator light comes on, this could be an indication of several issues. A faulty wheel-speed sensor A faulty steering-angle sensor A faulty rotational-speed sensor An issue with the steering rack Something that is lodged in one of the wheels The AdvanceTrac system needs to be reprogrammed
  3. Honesty I don't know. Tires are rated Treadwear: 640, Traction: A, Temperature: A. If you look at the ratings on Tirerack.Com, you'll see all the categores are in the green. Very few tires are rated this high (and can maintain it over theit lifetime).
  4. Because of its age/milage, consider changing all fluids, starting with the coolant and transfer case lubricant. Also if they haven't already been changed, changr the plugs. Make this your 1st priority. Plugs should be changed around 90k and as they age, the gap widens, the plugs draw.more current, heating up the coils. When they get too hot, they fail (possibly taking the PCM with them $$$).
  5. Looked up the LED reference. There up to $14 each now. Love the description "shine good. match body. but not made latch size not защелкивает. it have depart small. its попытаюсь pull hair dryer. hope help."
  6. Thanks. Figured they changed. My current ones project the name "lincoln"in blue on the ground. Would rather have the Lincoln logo. I'm aware of the LED ones, but hadn't seen ones for $10. Thanks.
  7. Does anyone know if the current puddle lights are the same as previous years, that is, will the current light with the extended light pattern and Lincoln Logo, fit a gen-1?
  8. Appearently it's a 3rd party website that takes your order, adds an up charge and sends the order to a manufacturer (China?) or other supplier. Lots of complaints: https://carid.pissedconsumer.com/knock-off-items-fakes-not-original-items-scam-201705111045763.html
  9. I would have guessed that she would have picked up the car as soon as it came out. That means she had the car for 4 years. That means the salesman only put on 105 miles a day. {chuckle}
  10. While this one was not leaking, I think he was addressing coolant leaking from the weap hole after the first O-ring failed.
  11. I'll get back to you in about 25 years. I have a little over 110K on my Gen-1 and put on about 5-6k a year. {smile}
  12. Any possibility that it could be an unrelated problem causing the low boost?
  13. Here in Indiana in the cold winter we use a windshield ice and snow cover. But it also works great in the summer sun buy blocking the sun's rays before they pass through the windshield and converts to heat. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077ZNKZJJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Js7aBbTZA9EWX
  14. Read a report where someone parked two identical vehicles in Georgia sun, one white, one black. After allowing them to bake, measured the interior temperature and the black was 139°, the white 113°. Radiator failure "may have been" from not flushing old coolant before changing. Did (or prev owner if there was one) you every mix or change coolant types? If it were me, I don't believe I'd mess with a lower thermostat, car was designed to run at oem temperature. But I would change the coolant every couple of years as a precaution, make certain the I had s 50/50 mix and run synthetic oil.
  15. I'm running the Bridgestone Ecopia 422, not the older 400's. The 422's have an improved tread pattern. I also am running 20" and have AWD, so snow isn't a problem. I would imagine 18" tires would be better in snow do to the added flex in the sidewall. And snow removal in the area is usually very good so there are only a very few days when we are ever really driving on snow. On those that are snow covered, the tires are good (NOT snow tires) and NOT poor. I like the tires, no real complaints. (Don't consider the older 400's which were not as good). One other thing to consider is, the better the tire is on snow, the noiser the tread is on dry payment. I like super quiet over those few days of heavy snow. (But with AWD, who cares?)
  16. I wonder if the check engine light "going on and off" is throwing a DTC P0460-P0463 error code. If it is, here's the way to test and an easy fix.
  17. After you reach a certain age, you come to realize it's actually intellectual defecation..
  18. I remember when we used to call these "brain farts".
  19. Couple of thoughts. One is you may have accidentally disabled the remote start in the info display. OM pg 108. 2nd is possibly the hood switch has failed. Test by open hood, hold down switch and try remote start. Do you get horn honks, lights? [edit] On my mkx, the hood switch is a small (1") rubber nub, front of engine compartment, passenger side. It sticks up and hood presses on it when closing. Easy to find.
  20. Hey ronaldmignone, welcome to the forum. What's under the mirror? Looks like a radar detector or camera bracket.
  21. I posted this in another message, but will mentioned it again here. I was at my local dealer a week or two ago and overheard the service rep telling another customer about carbon buildup on the valves. He told him that to clean the buildup off, they have a Ford procedure to steam clean the valves. I didn't get involved, wish I would have asked about the cost, etc. but figured I should stay out of it.
  22. There's chatter about GPS wandering & failing in the F150 forum. Known problem, dealer replaced the APIM module. Could also be related to the system not understanding your voice commands. Next time you see the map showing the GPS to be way off, look at the screen to see if you see the GPS icon. If not, the system has lost all GPS and showing false data. https://www.fordf150.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=123694
  23. Drop by your local dealer and ask them where the go to get used oem parts. Here in northern indiana, they usually use a yard near Indianapolis. The yard does so much business, they have trucks on the road every day, delivering parts all over the state.
  24. Just ran on on my MKX, so it's still working. Not that it's actually helpful.
  25. It seems to common across all Ford products (a lot of complaints in the F150 forum). Been tracked a loose torx screw seems to be the cause. https://www.f150forum.com/f118/driver-seat-seat-shifting-turns-345647/ Focus forum. http://www.focusst.org/forum/focus-st-discussions/45474-2015-st-loose-wobbly-seat.html#/topics/45474
