  1. Responded in your other post ("wiper blades") with a video on how to install Reflex blades.
  2. Probably a Chineese Edge. Because it's 7-passenger they probably mount the spare under.
  3. Nice looking car. But I would not put off changing the plugs, if they haven't already been changed. Going through the summer with plugs this old is really asking for trouble. If they haven't been changed, you are probably weakening the coils right now. Call you local dealer and give them you VIN. Ask them to check the history they have on the car and see if they have any records of what kind of maintenance has been done. If your lucky, the previous owner(s) took it the Ford for service.
  4. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OJCIMO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Q3cdBbPDEE4C4 Secure with a wire tie.
  5. Ah rat-a-fratz. Never read the description. You're right about the Pirelli's. The SCORPION VERDE ALL SEASON has a "would buy again" rating of 5.6. That's low. The SCORPION ZERO ALL SEASON PLUS, arn't rated yet but one of two reviewers wrote he was on his wear bars at less than 20k miles. I did find two other ALL-SEASON tires in this size however. First is a Achilles Desert Hawk UHP All-Season Radial Tire - 265/40R21 105V. Never heard of this brand and no reviews to go on. $176.73 with free shipping. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075XSCL9R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dPTcBbYT4BBX5 The other one sounds like it has promise. Michelin Latitude Sport 3 All-Season Radial Tire -265/40R21 101Y. $320.70. Free shipping for Amazon Prime members. Too new, not rated yet. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011OAWCU0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jRTcBbH0STB6Z Iffen it were me, I'd go with the Michelin's.
  6. Didn't realize they did this. Why wouldn't they go across the board and all cars? Huge step up on Longevity.
  7. We're not going to see you on Live PD, are we? (groan)
  8. Their rated as poor. Why wouldn't you go for the highest rated tires on a CUV so expensive? The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are numbet one rated and will set you back $1600+ but that's cost of running 21"tires. Tires are too important to run garbage. https://m.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Pilot+Sport+4S&partnum=64YR1PS4SXL&vehicleSearch=true&fromCompare1=yes&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2017&autoModel=Edge+FWD&autoModClar=Sport&autoMake=Ford&autoYear=2017&autoModel=Edge+FWD&autoModClar=Sport
  9. If you havent already checked out this site, here's another option for a replacement engines. (Free shipping). https://m.powertraindirect.com/3-5-liter-ecoboost-engines-for-sale/
  10. Uhhhh, so you drive left-handed?
  11. The first thing to check is the codes (as Akirby stated). All of these faults are related to the PCM. If the service AdvanceTrac warning indicator light comes on, this could be an indication of several issues. A faulty wheel-speed sensor A faulty steering-angle sensor A faulty rotational-speed sensor An issue with the steering rack Something that is lodged in one of the wheels The AdvanceTrac system needs to be reprogrammed
  12. Honesty I don't know. Tires are rated Treadwear: 640, Traction: A, Temperature: A. If you look at the ratings on Tirerack.Com, you'll see all the categores are in the green. Very few tires are rated this high (and can maintain it over theit lifetime).
  13. Because of its age/milage, consider changing all fluids, starting with the coolant and transfer case lubricant. Also if they haven't already been changed, changr the plugs. Make this your 1st priority. Plugs should be changed around 90k and as they age, the gap widens, the plugs draw.more current, heating up the coils. When they get too hot, they fail (possibly taking the PCM with them $$$).
  14. Looked up the LED reference. There up to $14 each now. Love the description "shine good. match body. but not made latch size not защелкивает. it have depart small. its попытаюсь pull hair dryer. hope help."
  15. Thanks. Figured they changed. My current ones project the name "lincoln"in blue on the ground. Would rather have the Lincoln logo. I'm aware of the LED ones, but hadn't seen ones for $10. Thanks.
  16. Does anyone know if the current puddle lights are the same as previous years, that is, will the current light with the extended light pattern and Lincoln Logo, fit a gen-1?
  17. Appearently it's a 3rd party website that takes your order, adds an up charge and sends the order to a manufacturer (China?) or other supplier. Lots of complaints: https://carid.pissedconsumer.com/knock-off-items-fakes-not-original-items-scam-201705111045763.html
  18. I would have guessed that she would have picked up the car as soon as it came out. That means she had the car for 4 years. That means the salesman only put on 105 miles a day. {chuckle}
  19. While this one was not leaking, I think he was addressing coolant leaking from the weap hole after the first O-ring failed.
  20. I'll get back to you in about 25 years. I have a little over 110K on my Gen-1 and put on about 5-6k a year. {smile}
  21. Any possibility that it could be an unrelated problem causing the low boost?
  22. Here in Indiana in the cold winter we use a windshield ice and snow cover. But it also works great in the summer sun buy blocking the sun's rays before they pass through the windshield and converts to heat. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077ZNKZJJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Js7aBbTZA9EWX
  23. Read a report where someone parked two identical vehicles in Georgia sun, one white, one black. After allowing them to bake, measured the interior temperature and the black was 139°, the white 113°. Radiator failure "may have been" from not flushing old coolant before changing. Did (or prev owner if there was one) you every mix or change coolant types? If it were me, I don't believe I'd mess with a lower thermostat, car was designed to run at oem temperature. But I would change the coolant every couple of years as a precaution, make certain the I had s 50/50 mix and run synthetic oil.
  24. I'm running the Bridgestone Ecopia 422, not the older 400's. The 422's have an improved tread pattern. I also am running 20" and have AWD, so snow isn't a problem. I would imagine 18" tires would be better in snow do to the added flex in the sidewall. And snow removal in the area is usually very good so there are only a very few days when we are ever really driving on snow. On those that are snow covered, the tires are good (NOT snow tires) and NOT poor. I like the tires, no real complaints. (Don't consider the older 400's which were not as good). One other thing to consider is, the better the tire is on snow, the noiser the tread is on dry payment. I like super quiet over those few days of heavy snow. (But with AWD, who cares?)
