Hey akirby, that's exactly what I thought !

Have had an unusual problem with my rear washer since the warmer weather (70's+) has arrived. The rear washer randomly squirts out a bit of washer fluid, just enough to have a line of fluid dry up on it, and leave a line on my CLEAN rear glass. I got my MKX back in late November, when colder weather was already upon us, and it did not do this at that time, or throughout the winter. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks, Joe

Have the display mode on my '12 MKX. My wife had a '07 Ford Five Hundred (AWD) before her MKS, and it didn't have any type of indicator, but in snow, it was great.

Nice rides you have (had), and the best when you get the "Sport". Let us know color/options you are getting with it. Joe

Updated back in March, all has ben fine since then, no problems. I do widh that they would put the temp display back in the center screen, tired of my wife asking what the outside temperature is. I had a LG phone when I got the "X", and it worked fine. Got a iphone 4s about a month and a half ago, and no problems at all, including playing music from the phone using bluetooth.

I have a '12 MKX for a little over 6 months, and I am very happy with it. I did have a problem with the liftgate not always closing on the first try, but a program update was performed at the dealer, and all is fine. Since my update with MFT, all is fine with it, no complaints at all. My only gripe is that I wish that this car had auto highbeam headlight like my wife's MKS does. A friend just got a Caddy SRX last week, not a bad vehicle, but my MKX has it beat in all area's.

Ditto for me, too, on the steering wheel not going down far enough.

Both are great vehicles, the MKX does offer more standard features, plus options that are available, that you cannot get on the Edge. The MKX does use softer materials on the interior, less plastic, and in my opinion, seats, both front and rear, that are padded more. Either way, with which ever you choose, you will get a nice ride.

Have the ESP on my wife's MKS, will also get in on my MKX. Had it on my '06 Explorer Limited, and it paid for itself over and over, and over, in the last year I had it. The Explorer was fine for 5 years, and then shit hit the fan, mostly electronics and electrical. Yes, it's like term life ins, but in my books, well worth it. Zero financing is great, too !

I don't know of any websites just for the Edge, one site I know of is WWW.AUTOANYTHING.COM, they have stuff for all cars. suv's, etc. Give it a shot, and you can always google a particular item, i.e. - Ford Edge Mud Flaps, see what hits you get. Joe

Can't see why you have to wait until then, if something is in their stock/inventory, most dealers will push it out the same day !

I thought that it might have been, but wasn't sure. Too bad that they don't offer lower body cladding painted like on the Edge Sport.

Enjoy your new ride. My MKX is also Silver Ingot, really a sharp looking color. Do yourself a favor, and get a good mcoat of wax on it asap.

The only suggestion that I would have for you is to go to the parts department at you dealereship, and ask them about ordering the part, and how you would go about installing it. You might have to have them install it, might be worth the frustration and aggravation of trying to do it yourself. Joe

Everything okay so far with my MKX ( 6 months old). I had a '95 Explorer for 7 years, a '02 Explorer for 4 years, and a '06 Explorer for 6 years, and never experienced any problems with the seat rocking. Hope all of you get the issue resolved.

Was at the dealership today for my first oil change, and picked up a book on the 2013 MKX. They now offer a new wheel option, a 22" polished aluminum wheel, looks quite nice. Kind of a look like the Edge Sport wheel. Just thought I would post this info. Joe

Your salesperson should go through a checklist with you, and explain how everything on the vehicle works, including pairing you cell phone(s). Carefulli inspect the complete interior/exterior for any flaws.blemishes. Wish you the best with it.

Have them in my MKX, now my wife wants me to ge them for her '09 MKS. She loves her car, but not the headrests !

You're right, everyone is entitled to their opinion, so to play it safe, I will keep my mouth (fingers) shut from any other comments, but I still think it was POOR TASTE from Eastinitup ! ! !
