Had similar problem years ago when I had a '06 Explorer. Some cd's are thicker, would not eject. What I did was press EJECT button, and while it was trying to eject the cd, I took another cd, inserted it just part way into the slot, and it helped guide out the cd that was stuck in there. Hope this info helps.

Have had sunroofs since 1992, big ones on my wife's MKS & my MKX, never experienced any issues with the sunshade portion left open.

All I ever use on the dash is a small amount of Meguires leather conditioner, don't want it too shiney.

Don't know, but try the "fix for everything" - disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect.

Congrats on the Edge. I have a '12 SILVER INGFOT MKX - great colour. I had a SHO, way back in '93. It was black with grey interior. I would always back into the garage, and the neighbor across the street would say ' There's Joe & his Batmobile' !

I have the vinyl shade on my MKX, and it's pathetic for a 50K car. Why can't they make a shade and reto-fit it , one like the new MKC, it slides !

Have a PDR guy tht I use, he's fantastic. Got 3 more on the side of the car ( 2 passenger, 1 drivers) people just don't give a sheet !

I think that Ford should stand up and say "yeah, these rims are frucked up, and give everyone that has problems new rims. How about the 22's available for the MKX's, are they problem rims too ?

I've used Meguires wax with a cleaner in it, does a really nice job of removing contaminants, and protecting them too. Listen to Richy, he knows what he's talking about.

I think buying/leasing a MKX is your only choice. You have to have perforated seats to have the air flow through. This IS one of the reasons I b ought my MKX. I just love having a 'cooled butt' ! If Ford offered this on the Edges, it would really take away MKX sales.

When we bought my wife's Lincoln MKS, she was in a 2 year lease with a Ford Five Hundred. We turned in the Five Hundred to the Lincoln dealership, no problems. As a matter of fact it was a early termination, Lincoln took the last 2 payments. Another reason why we just LOVE Maplecrest Ford/Lincoln in Union (Vauxhall) NJ so much.
