Like what @Sean Jones said, it has Nav. Only make sure when getting the card that the Nav SD Card is present, and if buying it from a Ford Dealer, maybe also negotiate to get the latest A6 Maps SD Card.

Nothing. But I think you should disconnect the battery for ~ 10 minutes. The APIM is still covered by a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty. So you can take it to the Dealer.

Anyone know how to remove the back panels of the front seats? would like to take a look at the cooled seat ducting.

Unfortunately, like what others said, you'll barely feel the cooled back. Though the heated function can be felt during the winter. I researched this for my MKX, & found the same common complaint on most Ford/Lincoln vehicle with cooled seats. To confirm that the is actually cooled, check the spar parts & diagrams & they would confirm the presence of a seat & back (2 different) cooling/heating devices. It seems, in my opinion, the weaker cooling of the back is either due the seat air filter being at the bottom (farther from the back module) or it might be designed that way as a persons back can easily hurt from cold air especially after sweating.

For HID equipped Edges, the D3S is used for both Low & High beam (similar to older 2011-14 Edge). Still, the H15 bulb is still present on HID bulbs. From the above, would the H15 also function as a High Beam for HID equipped vehicles? It might also be used for the "Flash to Pass" function, while regular highs would utilize the HIDs. This would be an area for a mod to allow both, the H15 high & HID to turn on to make for a double high beam setup.

In my opinion, if you really are thinking of the 51D & Sync3, then wait. If you don't wait for them, you'll start regretting why you did not wait. Losing a little from not benefitting from the 12% offer is far easier than starting to regret not getting everything you wanted in your 40k+ vehicle, especially one that you ordered.

Don't wait too long, it will progressively become worse until it might become hard while braking even with the engine running.

Did you try to re-insert the key in the ignition & remove it? Doors automatically unlocking after trying to look them usually is because the key is still in ignition. I'm not sure if it's the same symptoms, but could it also be that shifter is not registering that it's in P? As this problem is quite common.

If I recall correctly, with factory trailer hitch, the kick should be on either side of the hitch. The attached image is from the 2015 owners manual & shows a wide area for the sensor.

We are already starting to see temperatures of 50 degree Celsius (122 Fahrenheit), still July & August are hotter. Also, I believe one of the reasons is that customers here (culture in general) don't really get the concept of on-road crossovers. If it has AWD/4WD, they WILL drive it on the sand dunes, even in the summer. If Ford tells customers that the Edge is NOT for off-roading, they'd probably lose 90% of their customers.

If you lock using the interior door switch then close the door, then it would unlock if it detects an intelligent key/fob inside. Locking the doors using the exterior keypad will always lock the doors regardless of the presence of an intelligent fob inside or not also regardless of the engine running or off.

As per FordParts.com, the same price is listed for both 2015 & previous (2007-2014). So it is either the same part, or a new updated part that is still interchangeable with older models. I have tried the Active lane assist on a 2013 Explorer, it does NOT drive for you, but will nudge you back to the lane (steer you back) but after you touch the lane. It does not drive the vehicle you between the lanes. So, in theory, if you don't do anything, the car will swerve left & right between the 2 lanes. Hope you understand what I mean. Also, if you keep your hands off the steering wheel or pass the lanes a few times, it will sound a chime to alert you & remind you to hold the steering wheel.

It is definitely not normal. I would suggest doing a Master Reset (would erase all personal data & phone pairings) & try without any flash drive or SD Card. If the problem still persists, take it to a dealer.

The MFT has an extended warranty for 5 years unlimited mileage.

Make sure your on the latest version, should be 3.6.2, then there was a TSB to fix the Ambient light resetting issue. But did not hear of a fix for the others. I also have the screen brightness issue in addition to the call & message ringtones resetting to default every week or so.

Yes, it does steer you back if the setting is set accordingly.

The 2011-2014 had a setting for "Memory" under Menu Control that when turned on will remember the last display in each category so you'd go to it directly when scrolling up/down without having to go to the right each time.
