    You should also state if you have a FWD or AWD Edge. Also remember that octane rating method is different, UAE/GCC 95 octane is equivalent to 90 in US while 98 in UAE is equivalent to 93. US uses AKI method while GCC countries use RON. Furthermore, I have always noted fuel economy here (GCC) is always much worse than what people get in US. I get between 15.5 & 18 MPG (US gallons by the way = 3.785 liters) with my 2011 3.7L AWD MKX. In Doha we have extreme stop & go driving.

    13171 is version 3.6.2 which is the latest version of MyFord Touch for models up to 2013 (if I remember correctly). 2014 & newer have version 3.7.

    Actually it is not that hard! They can connect the License to the SD Card which, as far as it is known till now, is not possible to copy or duplicate!!!

    When MFT debuted back in 2010 for the 2011 model, there was a lot of talk that Navigation would be an add on option by simply buying & inserting an SD card. Many customers, including those who post in this forum, were told by Ford Dealers that Navigation could be added later on only to be disappointed. Even if Ford did not state it, as it might have been speculation by some reviewers and/or salespeople that was spread on the internet, Ford did NOT make it clear at the time. To know now that adding Nav is a simple software issue (which Ford denied many times ago through their reps in Forums) is just a continuation of Ford's mess-up with MFT.

    Drpepper, if your dealer couldn't fix it with the TSB provided above, I believe you'd need to look for a different dealer!

    I have no idea of another version, but I just realized that since you have a 2015, shouldn't your version be 3.7?

    Did you try to do a Master Reset? It usually clears things better than a restart.

    Only AWD vehicles as it is the part responsible to send output to the rear wheels.

    Take it to your dealer, they should try a reflash, if it doesn't work, I believet hey should change the APIM. You have a 5 year extended warrantyo n the APIM (software & hardware) with unlimited mileage.

    MyKey is a standard feature. If that's the case, you would need an Admin key to un-program the MyKey.

    This is the first review I read for the 2015 Edge Sport showing 0-60 mph time. 5.7s is very good indeed. That is the only part of the review I actually cared for. I agree with the others, they should have picked a 2.0 SEL or Titanium to make it a fair comparison, similarly equipped to the others & would have faired well in terms of price, performance, ride & MPG. A loaded 2.0 Titanium with 19" wheels which has more features than the Murano (Auto Park, Hands free liftgate, 2nd row Inflatable seat belts) is still ~ $500 less than the tested Muran (neck to neck with the optional 3.5L Engine) Selecting the Sport model & then saying the ride was harsh is not fair. Also, regarding MFT, I also have a 2013 Nissan Altima with the 8" Nav/infotainment screen (should be similar to the Murano's), and even though it is faster than the MFT, I still prefer Ford's MFT as it is still smarter & can do more compared to Nissan's.

    Just to add my input, had the "loose" drivers seat & after nearly 4-5 "fix" attempts by the dealer they replaced the seat track & the seat is now as it should be. P/N of the ordered part was BT4Z-7861711-D

    I am sure you have this covered, but even the best can miss some simple things, maybe you have the MyKey feature enabled & you hit the MyKey top speed of 80 mph?

    I think that is how the 1st generation is designed. Also AWD should have no effect in this case because the Edge is FWD based, so the front wheels are always driving.

    As far as I know, you'll need to reprogram any set to work for your vehicle any time they are installed, though I might have read somewheres some people only replace their winter wheels without needing to reprogram. But, I also remember that the in-wheel TPMS don't work with vehicles that came with valve mounted TPMS sensors. Also, I am not sure Explorer wheels fit the Edge as the have a different offset.

    Just some ideas, check the hood switch & make sure it's connected properly. Do you have a problem with shift to park message from the shifter? If yes, it might be related.

    From the owners manual: "Your oil change service interval can be up to one year or 10,000 miles (16,000 km)." So the maximum is 10K miles. 70% would mean after 7K miles. Personally, due to our extremely high temps, I set it to 50% & get the reminder at 5K miles (8K km) as recommended by Ford in our region.

    No way to do it your self without the Admin key as far as I know. Your dealer should be able to do it for you. I suggest you take it to your dealer & have them erase the missing key & program a new key so you get 2 keys. Since you seem to have purchased it from a dealer, maybe you can negotiate them to give you a free key or get a good deal on a new one. E-bay also offer a lot used & new keys & they are relatively cheap, but have to be programmed by a dealer or a locksmith since you only have 1 key available now.
