  2. Congrats on your new-to-you Edge, venicebeachboy! Does this happen at any other time, or just when you leave your house? Also, to make sure you have the latest version of software for your MyFord Touch, log in to your SYNC account at www.Support.Ford.com. It'll tell you which version you have in the blue column on the right side of the screen. Let me know what it says. Rebecca

I apologize that you feel I'm not being helpful and that my response is different than Antonio's, ls973800, but Antonio and I are not trained or certified Ford technicians and cannot speculate on what the cause is. I'm here to provide you with basic troubleshooting for SYNC, MyFord Touch, and navigation, and in this case, your Ford dealership is in the best position to investigate and/or correct this concern.   4. Good morning, everyone! For this concern, you'll have to visit your dealership so they can determine the exact cause of this. If you've already been to your dealer and it has been documented for your vehicle, you can contact them again to see if they have a fix yet. Rebecca
  5. Hi 11Edge, Like ls973800 said, the A5 is the latest map SD card. Currently, you can order one via any certified Ford dealership, but I suggest contacting a few to ensure you get the best price. In the future, they'll be available for purchase through our map provider, HERE, at www.Navigation.com. Rebecca

  8. Hi 05stram, Map updates are usually released yearly from our map provider, HERE. The A5 SD card is not available on their website yet, but you can purchase one via your dealership. I do suggest contacting a few dealers to ensure you get the best price. Also, if you are noticing missing POIs, roads, etc., please be sure to let HERE know by reporting them at this link: https://mapreporter.navteq.com/#dashboard Rebecca
  9. Do you have the VIN, Wacki? I can verify if it has navigation. Since it's a used vehicle, it's up to your dealer's discretion on whether they include the SD card or free. Rebecca
  10. Were you driving when this happened, Tacyon? That can alter the appearance of some features since SYNC restricts them while driving. Other than that, yes, SYNC will occasionally reboot itself. If it continues to happen, let me know. Rebecca
  11. Hey everyone, According to our compatibility chart the iPhone 5, 5s, and 5c are not compatible with texting on MFT.   17. Version 2.1 only adds Vehicle Health Report (for U.S. vehicles) and 911 Assist; I don't have any other recommendations for you to have checked out in regards to SYNC.   18. Hi Steve, There is no official soft reboot for MyFord Touch or SYNC. Have you tried rebooting your phone or deleting it from the system and re-pairing? If you have and those didn't work, please perform a master reset: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync-myford-touch Like akirby stated, the reset does not change your software.   20. Were you able to get the update installed? If not, I can send you a USB with the update on it. I'll just need your VIN, full name, and mailing address (you can send it in a private message). If you don't wish to wait 2-3 weeks for our USB, make sure yours is formatted to FAT32 and it cannot be encrypted or password protected. Let me know if you have any questions.   23. When you're trying to reply to the text, are you doing so from the phone or MLT, and which phone is the one you use the most? The Droid 4 is not compatible with texting, and the iPhone 5 can only receive texts. I have the LG G2 and am able to send and receive texts, but I'll try to reproduce the issue you're having. The Droid Maxx should also fully work with this feature.
