Hi Matt, It looks like everyone answered your questions, so I'll chime in with a few other helpful things. - Have the dealership update the MFT software for you (so you can have time playing instead of installing). - After you purchase, go to www.Support.Ford.com and create your SYNC account. - You can also find a lot of useful information here: http://support.ford.com/topics/sync-technology-sync-myford-touch I can't wait to see pictures!   5. Hi amx, In the past, the letters were being mailed twice a year, but unfortunately, I don't have an ETA for if and/or when they'll be mailed again. Since it's tied to your VIN, you don't actually need the letter, but if you do want it, your dealership will be able to print it from their system. Rebecca

  7. Hi rwf8155, Which Samsung phone do you have? I'm with akirby on this one, make sure autoplay is turned off on Pandora. If you don't listen to music via your phone, you can also try turning the media portion off in your phone's Bluetooth settings for SYNC, but that is phone dependent.   15. Congrats on your new-to-you Edge! The newest SD card is A5 and can be purchased through any Ford dealership. If you haven't done so already, be sure to create your SYNC account like WWWPerfA_ZN0W said. It should state that you have the latest software (version 3.6.2), but if not, you can download it from your account. Let me know if you have any questions! Rebecca

  20. Hi carjock, Congrats on your new Edge! In order to use SYNC, you have to have a phone with Bluetooth. Here's a link to our compatibility chart if you decide to get a new phone: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/device-compatibility-sync-myford-touch Without a phone paired, you will not be able to make and receive hands-free phone calls, run a Vehicle Health Report, use SYNC Services, or enable 911 Assist.   23. Great minds think alike! Thanks! That does equate to version 3.6.2; you are up to date. Now, let's figure out what's going on. Have you tried a master reset, deleting you phone from SYNC, or rebooting your phone yet? If not, I think we should start there. Here's a link to those steps: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/troubleshooting-sync-myford-touch I'd like you to start with Tip #3, but after step three (deleting SYNC from your phone), please reboot your phone and proceed to step four. Here's how to get it on your MFT screen: Gears > ?HELP > SYSTEM INFORMATION > CCPU S/W Version: nickf1011, Next time you remember after midnight, just download it to a USB so you can install it the next time you'll be driving for 30-40 minutes.
