    Next up. Spark plug change on Lullubelle. I expect to do this the weekend following the 4th. This should be it for a bit until I decide to change out the shocks and struts this late fall before the snow and install snow tires.

    Don't let the pump go dry while waiting to repair it or you will be installing a new pump and hoses. wow guys i really appreciate the help with any luck im hoping its the line, going to get it up and see what i can see this next weekend when im off and i will post pics and any info i can for future reference, thanks again

    I can not remember exactly which line it was that failed but it failed near the pump or at the pump connection. I believe the best way to get to it will be from below on the passenger side. You may need to remove the inner tire well to access it better. I do not have a repair manual to provide the exact directions but someone here WWW? may be able to provide that information.

    After a bit of driving between both the 2011 Ford Edges I have come to not that even though they both have the same engine and transmission etc. Each Edge has a slight difference in how it runs and feels. Hard to state exactly what the differences are but they a just slightly different.

    Don't forget to disconnect the battery so the Edge can relearn the new TB!

    Pumps not really failing that much but the power steering lines do. You may want to raise the edge up and find out exactly where the leak is coming from (most likely a line connection) keep in mind that line is a little on the pricy side. I paid over 120 bucks for just the line.

    Autozone has the 2011 Ford Truck Edge Limited 2WD 3.5L SFI DOHC 6cyl Part Number: SP-520 plugs for $3.99 each vice the amazon price of about 8 bucks each for the same plug. The 520's appear to be the iridium and the 420 the older style copper ends (at least from the photos) I know the iridium's are OEM so not sure how the 420's come into play.

    Great!! I look forward to the video. I think that i closes pretty fast. Any faster and they would have to rename it Guillotine!. Gotta have time to get body parts out of the way. LOL

    On an off chance you could rotate the front tires to the rear and vice versa. Then see if the rumble changes. If so you could have a set of tires that are bad. Also check the tires for cupping. If they are worn poorly then your front struts may be worn out or your rear shocks depending on the tire wear. I have had multiple tire wear and noise issues due to shocks and struts. Also the type of tire will also make a difference with rumbling noise for example snow tires in the summer. Snow tires make a terrible rumble noise so check the type of tire on your Edge. Basically if it is not an engine or transmission issue then you have a suspension issue. A lot of parts are moving around trying to work together.

    Lullubelle is in need of new spark plugs any suggestions? Stay with Ford OEM or is there a proven better brand? I am also changing out the gaskets, just because I am there. New PCV after all I am there again. Might as well since the cost is not that much.

    What caused you to decide the TB is the issue? Signs and symptoms of a failure?

    Lullubelle's brake and rotor replacement. Blueberry's will be far easier as I have experience now. Watch this video so you understand what I am saying.

    MercyGirl and I worked many hours for this video. It is not our best video due to many issues. MercyGirls day was not going well and I worked through it with her, but alas this is what we ended up with. Again not our best work but I think it still shows everyone the how to's when dealing with the front and back rotors and all the bits and pieces that make it all work. Hope it helps those who want to do this job prepare and know that special tools for the rear rotors are required.

    Just ask the installation shop to ensure it is OEM compliant or equivalent. If they can not assure you then find a better shop. Go with the known brand windshield companies. Also ask them if they have different levels of windshields. A lot of the time they will try to sell the cheapest windshield in order to get the work so ask the questions. If not satisfied go to the Ford Dealer then you will be guaranteed a OEM part.

    This will demonstrate why you should change your transmission fluid sooner rather than later. Transmission fluid changes are cheap compared to the cost of a new transmission. This fluid flush was performed at a local shop I use monthly to perform oil changes, radiator fluid changes and oil changes.

    A short video to show you why you should change this filter often. Changing it will make the air cleaner and allow more flow when using your Heating or AC.

    This is a video for those who want to see how to bleed the brake system on their Ford Edge and other vehicles using the two person method. In this case teaching a young girl (MercyGirl) how to help me out by pumping the brake pedal. We go through the steps on the rear and front calipers. Note I was having camera issues and lost a lot of video due to focusing, but I believe this is still sufficient to cover the process. Hope it helps those that want to do this.

    A video on how to remove and install a caliper pin kit and the low frequency dampers on the rear calipers of the 2011 through 2014 Ford edge. This I believe is also on the 2015 and soon to be 2016 Ford Edge. Some good info for the DIY'er to prevent damage to the pins and low frequency dampers. This video was created from my mistakes that cost me some time and money until I learned how to perform this job properly.

    Moog sent me a ball cap. LOL I knew it. Got some stickers too. I figure I will sneek over to Akirby's driveway and plaster Moog stickers and K&N stickers all over the rear window of both of his Edges. LOL

    400 miles today and those new brakes are smooth. Glad I was able to get them installed for today's trip.
