  1. That seems good to me. Prices between base models and loaded limited models range between 26k - 44k new. So you'll find other 2012 models with same milage for much less but you'll also get much less. I love my 2012 Limited. Its fully loaded except the blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control. I paid 29,700 a year and half ago with 2,700 miles. Your price seems respectful seeing as your talking in Canadian money.
  2. I filled up a gas can to the 2.5 gallon mark and the pump said 3 gallons. So I called the towns dept of measures to report it. Also told the station attendant. Not sure if it was fixed or not because I stopped gong there. If I was to fill up 18 gallons it would have told me i pumped close to 22 gallons. It probably the pump.
  3. Honestly, your probabbly one of the few that even has a 2015 Edge so You may have to wait a while before you get someone to respond to your request. BTW nice Edge
  4. They all stop 8 inches short as a safety feature. The theory is that the roof glass is so heavy they couldn't use a sensor (the weight would set off the sensor)to prevent it from injuring a consumer. So they stop it 8" from the end as a safety.
  5. I was just thinking. Maybe you could just cut off the wedge shape from your valance and attach it to fill in the missing spots on the bottom. That's what I would do. I would just rough cut off the sides and install it then with painters tape make a line with the front edge and cut it across level with the bottom using a dremel, hack saw blade, or utility knife.
  6. I don't think anyone will notice it is gone except for you. You will probabbly notice a slight drop in MPG. Probabbly something like 1/2 -1/4 mpg because they put that lower spoiler on to help with aerodynamics.
  7. I would only post a topic once because people get upset. Im sure this will get merged or locked.
  8. I'm not following what rubber part your talking about. Are you talking about the rubber that is on the outside attached to the rear glasspanel and sides? or the pleated rubber pieces on the interior?
  9. We all get upset sometimes. He just decided the best way to stop the dispute was to lock the thread.
  10. I think all the Ecoboost engines have rated HP tested with premium fuel, but will run fine with 87 octane. So if you run higher octane you will get more power/better performance. Please correct me if Im wrong.
  11. I would gain .5- 1mpg with my K&N filter on my 2004 3.0 V6 Escape. I don't think I would see that on the Edge because the more modern engine adjusts better to any lack of air flow.
  12. That sucks. I hope I never have that issue. You loose control of heated seats too.
  13. I have a 2012 Edge with MFT and Nav. I have had the edge for just over a year and it has rebooted at startup(maintenance) twice. I have had no other issues. Everything works great. Smooth flow of the screen. I would rate it at a 8 out of 10 only because the lack of Applications that had been promised. I would much rather have a stable system than one with apps that crashes. Pandora app would be nice. Maybe they could allow use of one uploaded application if the system could handle it. I look at MFT like learning a new software program. When I switched from my iPhone to a Android phone it took me longer to adjust than with MFT. Even with the touch buttons on the dash I never have issues. I can even use them with my gloves on. I just wish my heated seat controls were available on all the screens(Nav, Entertainment, Phone). Maybe Ford could do this with the next update. HINT, HINT FORD.
  14. Cinnamon metallic is awesome. Nice ride. I might be biased to cinnamon lol.
  15. Sony System is pretty good for a factory upgrade. You do have a sub in the rear passenger side with the amp. I would keep the speakers as they are tuned for the sony system. I think your looking for more bass. So that is what I would upgrade.
  16. Here ya go Ronnie. http://vid195.photobucket.com/albums/z66/ajc6882/20141206_183908_zpsxiv9pyge.mp4
  17. I just want to clear things up a bit. The ECU on the Edge is optimized for 87octane. Using any higher octane will probably give you a slight gain in power as the engine will adjust timing for increased octane, but not as much as if your ECU was programmed for a higher octane. I used to have a SCT X3 programmer for my Ford Escape and I had a high octane program that I could really feel a difference in power when running the high octane fuel. I'm actually considering purchasing the newer X4 programmer because when I ran the custom 87 octane performance program, it gave me a couple MPG extra along with more power and better shift points.
  18. Ford used the same sill for the illuminated version as the standard. You should be able to transfer the illuminated parts to the current sill plate if you want. You just gently bend the tabs to remove and bend back upon installation on your current sills.
  19. how about a plastic tank like my 2012 has.
  20. my passengers seat is about a half inch closer to the center console and makes a creaky noise sometimes because it rubs slightly.
  21. Yup. cool right. It also tags the music to let you know when a song is playing on another station.
  22. My Edge with MFT lets Sirius record music so you can rewind and play a song or songs over again.
  23. If it is Flood Ford they were extremely easy to deal with. I would try to find something a year old with super low miles. I bought mine from them with 2000 miles on it for 29,400. And mine is a fully loaded Limited with AWD. Besides discounts and rebates you should be able to knock off about 10% on the sticker price.
