  1. I would contact Weathertech. Your back sounds defective. Mine lays completely flat.
  2. Had the same problem a few weeks ago. Here's a link to my write up as to how to fix. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23597-windshield-washer-nozzle/?fromsearch=1 .
  3. Can't say, haven't used this product. This is specifically designed for headlights, requires UV to cure. Stuff I use, once/twice yr, only air drys and probably lasts only to first carwash. Don't feel like laying out $$ for a UV light, but this stuff can be cured in strong sunlight when temps are over 70°. Any refetences for using clearcoat on lens? Longevity, damage to polycarbonate over time, etc.?
  4. Requires special tools and a UV light to cure the sealant, but this looKs like the (one of) the best method to use. Lasts for three years, sane process as used oem. https://www.jbtoolsales.com/presta-137306-headlight-sealant/?gclid=CjwKCAiAtdDTBRArEiwAPT4y-7b4FyCGxLw_rbS3mU0XsRvEICgQc9A870SPwAMa4fJPBmWR4ce7HxoCN7EQAvD_BwE
  5. Just noticed that there is a new OEM PTU for sale on Ebay for $700 (free shipping), in case there's anyone who's looking for one. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F181751271842
  6. Nice, I sort of like the front end (still on the fence, guess it's soooo different). Don't care for the dirty, brown tires though. lol
  7. I would stay with Motorcraft for these parts. Others have reported problems with aftermarket. Ebay has lots to choose from, for example: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F272690460370
  8. You should pull the codes to see what the check engine light represents. That she's losing ABS and traction comtrol could be isolated to one or more sensor's triggered by speed. (These systems are very complex interconnected).
  9. There are dozens available on Ebay. If your looking fie OEM rubber (with the Edge logo), they normally sell for under a hundred for front and back, same for the cargo mat. (Used are considerably less.)Set of front & rear: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F261261960490 Cargo: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F181214913834 There are carpeted OEM mats as well (you didn't specify). Personally I prefer Weathertech due to their "deep dish" design that catches and holds winter slush.

    She’s dead :(

13's are fairly solid cars, the biggest complaint is door ajar light (faulty latch switch). 2nd most reported problem is the shifter.
  11. I'm attaching a copy of the 2015 For Towing Guide for your use. 2015 Ford Edge Towing.pdf
  12. On my 09 MKX the towing option included the hitch, connector wiring, added transmission cooler, upgraded dual fans & larger radiator.
  13. My 09 MKX did that. New brake booster helped a little, new brakes helped more. However one of the mechanics found something binding on the brakes that wasn't allowing the pads to fully contact the rotor. (This was during a "free" brake check with coupon). Whatever it was, made a 80% difference. Someone here who has a better understanding of the brakes may be able to speculate on what it was. As it was free, and I didn't even notice it until I was on the way home, I never asked exactly what he did.
  14. Wait until you see that white platinum in the sun. Its gonna knock your socks off.
  15. Nothing touches my baby cept a Northern Pride's $18 Ultimate car wash every week. None of that fancy ceramic stuff. (lol)
  16. Would you believe that you can actually "see" better with the yellow lights than those that run more bluish? Our eyes are most sentiment to yellow-green light and have very few rods sensitive to blue. It's only an illusion that you see better with white-blue light. Blue also causes the eye to focus differently than in normal light. That said, I had a Japanese rental that had FANTASTIC HID lights. Hit the brights and ... daylight.
  17. I would agree about pick & choose, but it may be possible to pick just part of a package. But expect to pay full dollar on it. Multi-option packages are dicounted; individual options are at full price. Talk to your dealer, sales manager will know what you can get separately.
  18. There is a copy of the production work order stuffed under the blanket attached to the hood.
  19. Besides the struts, did you also change the shocks?
  20. On a gen 2, I believe a double horn honk means the hood is open (or the switch isn't registering closed). I think it also means your foot is on the brake peddle, but that shouldn't be your problem here. I don't know if they continued the same pattern on yours.
