  1. There may be one work around for this. Charge this backup when driving and then use it to charge phone when stopped at beach (or wherever). Cheap enough at least. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085NNMPK7/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_dl_R43DY7F63CNX126PFB50?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
  2. Possibly the sensor is defective. Watch this video to see how to test
  3. Boink me: "destination 123 main street" sync: "say 1 for blain street, say 2 for crain street, say 3 for same street, say 4 for guppy avenue" me: "no main street" sync: guppy Avenue, is that correct?" me: "no" sync: "connecting you to emergency services" me: " no you !@#$%^ piece of +×÷=/. I said 123 main street" voice: this is 911 what is your emergency"? me: "no emergency. I'm trying to get my !@#$% car sync to program a destination" voice: please pull over an officer will be on scene in two minutes. Is anyone else injured?" me: you rotten !@#$%^ car. All I wanted you to do ....." officer: sir, put your hands up and exit the vehicle." sync: "heh, heh, heh" Thats why. (Or in sync speak, "that's wye").
  4. Not possible to give an accurate estimate as there are too many variables involved. Location, color, engine, 2wd or awd, packages, remote start, adaptive cruise control, accessories, navigation, BAMR, HID headlights, towing pkg, wheels, tire size, glass damage, fender benders, scratches, tire tread amount, type of maintenence given, aftermarket parts junk, modifications, etc. With defective moon roof, price would probably be rated as "fair, major mechanical work required". Locally, I'm seeing private party prices running from $9,878 to $12,625. (Avg is $11,252). Yours is high milage so lower end. (Local avg is 103,907). But there are many variables and you need to get the car priced locally with its exact options and physical conditions. Expect the broken roof to cause sales problems as very expensive to repair.

How's it holding up? Road dirt and grime coating the filler yet?
  6. I can see changing the control valve, but the other stuff? (bad humor)
  7. Nothing you can do about it. The beam pattern is built-into the housing (which is specific to each individual vehicle). May be possible to add a pair of side-looking leds to throw more light to side of road (like fog lamps).
  8. Simplest method. Plug and pay. https://www.navtool.com/ford-edge-2015-2018-video-in-motion-category.aspx
  9. Highly unlikely your car has blind spot wiring. It's a factory mod only (not dealer installed). As for aftermarket, Amazon has gobs of blind spot aftermarket systems. Do a search for "blindspot detection". I have passive blindspot detection on my 2009 MKX. Works great, but you do have to check it periodically.
  10. Discontinued. Remaining balance passed along to outside agency for payout. ☹ Great while it lasted. Allowed no interest for 6 months or 12 months (depending on how much was charged). Always nice to use OPM.
  11. I'd avoid the use of any credit card for a down payment as the interest rate is a killer (unless you pay it off 100% at the first payment, in which case you don't need a credit card in the first place). Check with your bank and see what they'll offer. In the past I just wrote a check against my home improvement loan. High interest but lower than credit card. Or like 1004ron suggested. Get a credit card with 2% back and then at the first payment, write a check against your home improvement loan to pay off the credit card. You'll collect the 2% rebate and drop the interest rate by ~10%. ??
  12. Thought of another idea (probably worthless but ..... hey). Next time you're at some distance from home, (at the mall, work, store) try setting your home location in. See if setting the home location when you're not at home, changes anything.
  13. I'd recommend resetting the main processor. (To reset, press the tiny button in the upper left side on the face. Make certain nothing is plugged in such as USB, or etc.) You can use a ball point pen or toothpick. Another thing could try is to turn off the "Local" setting. (Have no idea if this would work, but can't hurt to try).
  14. Discussed here (Focus Forum). https://www.focusfanatics.com/threads/remove-rearview-mirror-from-titanium-with-tech-package.807653/
  15. @Handfiler stated he didn't know if it ran android or not. (It was from your post where I learned about AA WIRELESS.) Great find, thanks for posting. For me, I usually run with a radar app when I'm on the road and that requires me to keep the phone plugged in; so I'm already using a cable and going wireless isn't a biggie.
  16. AA wireless is supposed to run Android Auto https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/aawireless#/ Good reviews on https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/aawireless-for-wireless-android-auto-on-sync-3.3810/
  17. See pix 3 in the set Haz provided. To remove, just pull it off by hand. I believe that the green shaded part comes first. To replace, it clips back in. (From 150 forum). As far as plugging in the Mirror Tap, pin #1 is black ( +12 volts) and pin #4 is green (ground).
  18. Car off. Go to your fuse panel (in cabin) and remove the power feed for 10 seconds). Then plug the power feed back in. Start car and see if you have sound. Found youtube video to show you how.
  19. Yea, those Ford water pumps, just a few hundred thousand miles and they leak like a sive.
  20. New rotors and pads, front and rear. (Brakes rock solid like new. Finally. Rear brakes frozen and most all braking force taken by front). Disassembled and repaired parking brake. Works oil change. PTU drain and fill. ($96. They raised their price again. Probably trying to recover the new pump they bought year or two ago. $10.50 for fluid). Replaced tire pressure band on one wheel. Only took 4 days! (Grunt)
